Instead of finding things to attack each other over, why don’t we find areas where we can hijack threads like turning a discussion about Reagan’s views on socialized medicine into an argument about whether or not Obama is incompetant without his teleprompter.
There! Fixed it for you Hannitized!

Sparkie nice to see you woke up this afternoon.
Might want to check the Bed/Head or is that the glue doing that?
Just because a person speaks using a teleprompter doesn’t mean they can’t speak without one, like the hapless hopeless Obama.
Wankertized’s crystal ball must be as fecal stained as his teeth!
Wankertized: Thanks for not even trying to refute anything Reagan said.
A man’s got to know his limitations!
…as do reality bereft trolls! Now go hijack someone else’s thread!
Sparkless:

Just because a person speaks using a teleprompter doesn’t necessarily mean they can’t speak without one like OBama.
Good point, DUHBAMA is definately no Ronald Reagan.
Way to show us you’re all about the honest discussion rather than name calling!
Don’t you ever get tired of being wrong, Wankertized?
Neiman
Reagan was expert at memorizing scripts and while he may have used a telepromoter from time to time, I assure you he did not need one. If it stopped as it has with Lord Obama, Reagan would not have missed a beat.
Accomplishments: If he did nothiong else but end the Cold War without firing a shot, as he did, he belongs in the top tier of US Presidents.

Big Ron, he was the man!
He knew more about Socialists and Socialism long before the Democrats started celebrating May Day with all the Communist Nations around the world.
Did Rob Port fix his post about Obama quoting an “inaccurate statistic AGAIN”, yes or no? Did he correct his post about Obama being “snubbed”, yes or no?
If your ADD prohibits you from traveling to those posts and making a rational argument (assuming for the moment you were capable of making one) where in your “philosophy” of “Instead of finding things to attack each other over” does it say that you have to attack Rob on every thread he comments whether you agree with what he posts or not.
You are the name calling hack, Wankertized. The fact that you cobbled together some phony baloney, feel good nonsense in your signature (poor grammar and all) doesn’t mean that you are anything other than a small minded troll who is jealous of Rob and what he has accomplished and the influence he wields in national debates.
You are pathetic Wankertized! Keep your ignorance on display here, though. You serve as a great bad example!
Who are you going to believe? Hannitized or your own lying eyes?
That is a ridiculous argument on many levels.
Yes. Why would anyone ever believe Hannitized???
So he forgot how to present the statistical data
He was a stuttering, bumbling idiot! The place was so silent you could hear a pin drop and Obambi is telling people he “can’t hear himself think”! Newsflash! You can’t hear what’s not there!
He did not have a clue what he was going to say next, because he could not read what had been written for him!
EnigmaCypher
Yes, Reagan gave an ultimate decisions in his time and that is the reason why america on one of the top of the richest nation during his time.
Essentially correct. Obama could never measure up to Reagan.
Who are you going to believe? Hannitized or your own lying eyes?
Obama stumbles badly when teleprompter goes down.
That is a ridiculous argument on many levels.
One, the TelePrompTer didn’t “go down”, he was never using one, much like he does all the time. Everyone who is honest knows Obama delivers great speeches and interviews without the use of a TelePrompTer.
Two, this is the single example the right uses to perpetuate the myth. So he forgot how to present the statistical data….so what, it happens once in a while. It only seemed to have happened once to Obama. Anyone who pushes this as evidence is dishonest.
The right clings to myths like Limbaugh clinged to oxycontin. Heh!
Gee, Wankertized! Some people might see “I only counter attack” as being nothing but “finding things to attack each other over”!
But, we all know that’s your M.O. !
Hannitized
This is a counter attack, Rob’s offense is lying about Obama, and you even corrected him on it, but he still refuses to fix his post.

Hannitizied claims…
Rob port is a hack that needs to be thoroughly mocked for his spreading of propaganda.
If he really was a ‘hack’, you and a number of other commentators on SAB would have banned long ago.
Rob rarely comments on anything, makes every effort to be honest from his perspective and allows the rest of us – particularly where you are concerned – wide latitude to Say Anything.
The sad part is that many bloggers here – myself included – abuse that privilege.
Interesting, by the way, that your weapon of choice in debate would be “mockery”.
You’re quite the delusional troll, aren’t you Wankertized? Rob made exactly one comment on this thread:
Just because a person speaks using a teleprompter doesn’t necessarily mean they can’t speak without one like OBama.
There is ample evidence for anyone with eyes to see and ears to hear, that Obama frequently flounders without the crutch of his teleprompter. Since Rob’s statement is evidently NOT a lie, then you calling Rob a liar for it must me!
Thanks for presenting something we can all agree on!
You, Wankertized, are a liar! And a hypocrite for your bogus signature that you have never adhered to!
Hannitized
PP,
Did Rob Port fix his post about Obama quoting an “inaccurate statistic AGAIN”, yes or no? Did he correct his post about Obama being “snubbed”, yes or no?
No. He is a hack. Sorry to burst your bubble.
Hannitized
If he really was a ‘hack’, you and a number of other commentators on SAB would have banned long ago.
Look up the word, political hack, and try again.
A political hack is a negative term ascribed to a person who is part of the political party apparatus, but whose intentions are more aligned with victory than personal conviction. The term “hired gun” is often used in tandem to further describe the moral bankruptcy of the “hack”.
Political hack may also be used by a political opponent in order to erode confidence or credentials of an opponent or his hired campaign help. Often used to demean well credentialed individuals for political purposes.
Hannitized
Rob is more of a partisan hack, than political….but you get the idea.
Hannitized
BTW, Wankertized: You do realize that the operative word in that sentence is “attack”, don’t you? And you do claim to know what it means…
If you think you are making an argument, or a point, you are sadly mistaken.
My sig suggests that the posts should be about focusing on ideas we both agree and move forward from there before we make up things to disagree about. It has nothing to do with counter attacking partisan hacks who lie and spread propaganda.
You are such a little child.
pparets
Hannitized asks…
Did he correct his post about Obama being “snubbed”, yes or no?
Well, of course, the answer is no. From his perspective, he got it right.
From yours, he didn’t.
In the arena of politics, very few things are ever factual, in the objective sense.
Rob assumes he is right because of his political perspective.
You assume you are right for the same reason.
That’s part of the reason why you indulge in the folly of demanding Yes or No answers to some of your queries; when, in fact, in politics almost nothing is a Yes or No.
If everything political could be reduced to objective fact, there would be no point to SAB, HuffPo, etc, and you and I wouldn’t be here.
pparets
Hannitized said…
Look up the word, political hack, and try again.
Why would I have looked that up when you simply used the word ‘hack’? Or are you now expanding it to cover your butt?
Use hack in a Sentence
–verb (used with object) 1. to cut, notch, slice, chop, or sever (something) with or as with heavy, irregular blows (often fol. by up or down): to hack meat; to hack down trees.
2. to break up the surface of (the ground).
3. to clear (a road, path, etc.) by cutting away vines, trees, brush, or the like: They hacked a trail through the jungle.
4. to damage or injure by crude, harsh, or insensitive treatment; mutilate; mangle: The editor hacked the story to bits.
5. to reduce or cut ruthlessly; trim: The Senate hacked the budget severely before returning it to the House.
6. Slang. to deal or cope with; handle: He can’t hack all this commuting.
7. Computers. to devise or modify (a computer program), usually skillfully.
8. Basketball. to strike the arm of (an opposing ball handler): He got a penalty for hacking the shooter.
9. British. to kick or kick at the shins of (an opposing player) in Rugby football.
10. South Midland and Southern U.S. to embarrass, annoy, or disconcert.

PP,
You are being childish and petty when you say things like this:
Well, of course, the answer is no. From his perspective, he got it right.
From yours, he didn’t.
Can the snub be verified, yes or no? Yes. Were not talking political ideology, were talking actual actions that can be verified. That is why we have journalists and partisan hacks. Guess which one Rob is?
In the arena of politics, very few things are ever factual, in the objective sense.
Were talking about when his speech occurred, which can be fact checked, and when the introduction occurred and to whom. Both can be fact checked. Don’t be dishonest.
And if you are going to be this dishonest, expect the honesty factor to deteriorate from your opponents.
Otherwise expect the picture of McCain and Bush hugging to be presented as two gays molesting each other…..because….you know…..i have a different perspective on that picture than you do.
Fair??
Hannitized
PP,
You are starting to make yourself look like a petty moron. Please grow up.
Do you seriously think the word “hack” supports your claim that it is a person who doesn’t allow people from an opposing political party post comments on a blog???
It does not, and you know it does not.
Hannitized
Win at any cost, eh PP???
Look in the mirror, friend.
pparets
Hannitized… you complete missed my point. I wasn’t talking about what I believe took place, nor was I indulging in some attack on you or Rob.
In politics, people believe what they want to believe, and they can, and usually will, find some ‘fact’ to back them up.
‘Yes’ or ‘No’ is a worthless tactic which you frequently indulge in, as though you expected your protagonist to cave in and cede your point, or that you could, thereby, trap them in some outrageous lie.
Am I right? Yes or No.
pparets
Hack:
1. to cut, notch, slice, chop, or sever
Hannitized
Am I right? Yes or No[?]
Well….yes…and no.
You know physical events can be fact checked. Political ideologies and the results of them are much harder if not impossible to fact check.
Media matters does a good job of this, as does fact check.org
In politics, people believe what they want to believe, and they can, and usually will, find some ‘fact’ to back them up.
OK….but were TALKING PHYSICAL EVENTS…not political ideologies or policy.
‘Yes’ or ‘No’ is a worthless tactic which you frequently indulge in, as though you expected your protagonist to cave in and cede your point, or that you could, thereby, trap them in some outrageous lie.
There are some discussions where a yes or no response applies appropriately, such as:
Can the date Obama made a speech be fact checked? Yes or no?
Seriously answer that!
pparets
Hack:
4. to damage or injure by crude, harsh, or insensitive treatment; mutilate; mangle: The editor hacked the story to bits.
Hannitized
PP, you are smart enough to know the word “hack” with the definition sever, cut, chop and slice does not apply to a blogger who bans political opponents.
At least I hope you do.
And while you go about proving words that define Rob as a mutilator of stories, you know the word hack, as used in politics does not literally mean people who use machete’s to cut things or chop things or sever things.
At least I hope you do.
What is wrong with you today?
pparets
Can the date Obama made a speech be fact checked? Yes or no?
That depend’s on whose ‘fact’ you wish to rely on.
Source A will say one date, time or place.
Source B will say another date, time or place.
Did Obama listen to and tolerate all those sermons given by the Rev. Wright?
Of course he did!… according to someone’s ‘facts’.
Absolutely not!… according to someone else’s ‘facts’.
Has the internet obscured the very meaning of ‘fact’? Absolutely!
Has the internet destroyed the axiom that photos don’t lie?
Yes!
Was Kennedy responsible for the death of JoAnn Kopechne? Yes!
Was Kennedy merely another victim in an accident which took JoAnn Kopechne’s life? Yes!
Like the internet, our minds are a reflection of the ‘facts’ we choose to believe.

Hannitized
… then he can only be a hack by doing what a hacker does.
In common usage, a hacker is a person who breaks into computers, usually by gaining access to administrative controls.[1] The subculture that has evolved around hackers is often referred to as the computer underground. Proponents claim to be motivated by artistic and political ends, and are often unconcerned about the use of criminal means to achieve them.[2]
Other uses of the word hacker exist that are not related to computer security (computer programmer and home computer hobbyists), but these are rarely used by the mainstream media.
Hack has several related meanings in the technology and computer science fields. It may refer to a clever or quick fix to a computer program problem, or to what may be perceived to be a clumsy or inelegant (but usually relatively quick) solution to a problem. The term is also used to refer to a modification of a program or device to give the user access to features that were otherwise unavailable, such as DIY circuit bending.
Over time, the meaning of the word there was expanded, perhaps through contact with the amateur radio community. It came to mean either a kludge, or the opposite of a kludge, as in a clever or elegant solution to a difficult problem. In the term “hack value” it also acquired a meaning of anything that was simultaneously fun and clever.
The initial hacker community at MIT, particularly those associated with the Tech Model Railroad Club, applied this pre-existing local slang to computer programming, producing the variant which first came into common use outside MIT.
[edit]History
The term “hack” was first used by US university computing center staff in the mid-1960s. The context determined whether the complimentary or derogatory meanings were implied. Phrases such as “ugly hack” or “quick hack” generally referred to the latter meaning; phrases such as “cool hack” or “neat hack”, to the former. In modern computer programming, a “hack” can refer to a solution or method which functions correctly but which is “ugly” in its concept, which works outside the accepted structures and norms of the environment, or which is not easily extendable or maintainable (see kludge). The programmer keeps beating on it until a solution is found. The jargon used by hackers is called Hackish (see the Jargon file). This should not be confused with “1337″ or “leetspeak.”
In a similar vein, a “hack” may refer to works outside of computer programming. For example, a math hack means a clever solution to a mathematical problem. The GNU General Public License has been described as[who?] a copyright hack because it cleverly uses the copyright laws for a purpose the lawmakers did not foresee. All of these uses now also seem to be spreading beyond MIT as well.
On many internet websites and in everyday language the word “hack” can be slang for “copy”, “imitation” or “rip-off.”
The term has since acquired an additional and now more common meaning, since approximately the 1980s; this more modern definition was initially associated with crackers. This growing use of the term “hack” is to refer to a program that (sometimes illegally) modifies another program, often a computer game, giving the user access to features otherwise inaccessible to them. As an example of this use, for Palm OS users (until the 4th iteration of this operating system), a “hack” refers to an extension of the operating system which provides additional functionality. The general media also uses this term to describe the act of illegally breaking into a computer, but this meaning is disputed.
The term is additionally used by electronics hobbyists to refer to simple modifications to electronic hardware such as a graphing calculators, video game consoles, electronic musical keyboards or other device (see CueCat for a notorious example) to expose or add functionality to a device that was unintended for use by end users by the company who created it. A number of techno musicians have modified 1980s-era Casio SK-1 sampling keyboards to create unusual sounds by doing circuit bending: connecting wires to different leads of the integrated circuit chips. The results of these DIY experiments range from opening up previously inaccessible features that were part of the chip design to producing the strange, disharmonic digital tones that became part of the techno music style.

From your own source, Hannitized…
Other uses of the word hacker exist that are not related to computer security (computer programmer and home computer hobbyists), but these are rarely used by the mainstream media.
Online Dictionary definition of ‘hack’ as a noun…
n.
1. A rough, irregular cut made by hacking.
2. A tool, such as a hoe, used for hacking.
3. A blow made by hacking.
4. A rough, dry cough.
Your original statement describing Rob as a ‘hack’…
Rob Port is a hack…
Only reasonable conclusion…
None of the noun usages of ‘hack’ makes sense in your original post, nor does a long article from Wikipedia on computer terminology rescue you from your own incredible blunder.
Were Rob a hack, you would not be posting here. Simple as that.
Bye.

None of the noun usages of ‘hack’ makes sense in your original post, nor does a long article from Wikipedia on computer terminology rescue you from your own incredible blunder.
You are illiterate. The VERBS you linked to are not NOUNS. A hack is short for partisan hack. The term partisan hack derives from the term Political Hack, which I have provided.
You simply can’t use a verb to replace a noun. You are playing childish word games you fool.
Were Rob a hack, you would not be posting here. Simple as that.
It is an idiotic statement on your part. Not mine.
I knew you were this child inside PP. You can’t tell me what I meant by using words. You can’t even back up your use of the word hack. Hack, the way you present it, is a verb. It can’t be used in the way I used it, because I used a noun.
Fool.

Oh, I forgot the best part:
None of the noun usages of ‘hack’ makes sense in your original post, nor does a long article from Wikipedia on computer terminology rescue you from your own incredible blunder.
What noun usages did I provide for hack? I didn’t, I used “hacker”, because you changed your word from hack, to hacker, which are two different things.
So I was provided the definition of hacker, showing you that you used the wrong word, hacker, instead of hack.
Now I know why you are going to impossible lengths to play with the word hack, it was because you screwed up by saying “if Rob was a hack, you wouldn’t be here”, but the VERB hack has nothing to do with partisan jackasses who lie and have a political agenda. But the noun sure does.
You lost a lot of credibility today PP.

If this is such common knowledge, name one instance.
Name one instance of common knowledge???

Rob, you hack….if Obama can’t speak without a teleprompter, it’s up to you to prove he can’t. All you guys have is one instance of him getting confused on how to present a statistic properly. THAT’S IT.
He has done interview after interview and delivered press conference speech after speech without them.
Don’t be an idiot.
You prove your accusation! It’s not up to me to disprove your lie. FOOL.
Here is Obama doing better without a TP, after he uses the monitor he answers questions. You may not like them, but he if performing brilliantly without any guidance.
Rob, you hack….if Obama can’t speak without a teleprompter, it’s up to you to prove he can’t.
It has been proven multiple times, beginning during his campaign, with comparative videos, showing him stuttering, bumbling and incoherent without the teleprompter, little H.
You can find many of them on YouTube.
robert108
That should be: “…no proof that he has not stuttered, stumbled and mumbled without one.”
robert108
Little H: Finding one or two examples of his speaking intelligibly without a teleprompter is no proof that he has often stuttered, stumbled and mumbled without one. After being caught, he has obviously tried very hard to speak well without one. That doesn’t make him a “brilliant speaker”, though, in any case.
I will look forward to all of your examples that equal mine!!
Hannitized
I’m assuming that you see yourself as honest, and that you see me as a “hack.”
There is no question, you post lies and never correct those once you have been informed your facts are wrong and your dates are wrong. Simple factual evidence you ignore…..makes you hack. There is no ASSUMING.
So consider this a good-faith effort to get your help in me being less of a hack.
Fine, but then I demand you show me examples of him not being able to speak without one. You refer to him as a rambling idiot, but you offer no evidence. Match my examples.
If Obama’s non-teleprompter speeches are great, I’d like to know of one so that I can review it in consideration of your comments.
Now….i will look forward to your revised opinion. Right?
http://ndgoon.blogspot.com/ goon
So, Obama sometimes answers questions without a teleprompter.
But those answers weren’t great. I hear stuttering and stumbling. And you said “great speeches” without the teleprompter.
You’re linking to press conferences and town halls, genius
yet the left call Bush an idiot.
robert108
Another factor might be that when he was campaigning, he stuttered and stumbled a lot, because he was trying to fool the American people and couldn’t speak his true Marxist beliefs in public. Now that he has successfully lied his way into power, he is more relaxed about revealing his actual beliefs about economics and foreign policy, and thus does better without his ‘prompter.
Hannitized
You’re linking to press conferences and town halls, genius.
In my original statement, genius, I included press conferences because it is DIRECTLY RELEVANT to his ability to speak intelligently and to the issues.
Furthermore, I did provide links to speeches. Genius.
By the way, didn’t OBama have a teleprompter built in to the podium in the White House press room?
When? Timing is everything and no, you confused a monitor that projects locations of journalists and foot notes, not a teleprompter.
I doubt you’ll ever be convinced, Hannitized. Because you start with the assumption that Obama is right and everyone else is wrong and work from there.
One, that is BS, and two, where are your examples of him being a idiot without a telemprompter???
Where are they, hack?
Hannitized
You see Rob, this is why so many Republicans turn their back on you. Because you are too ignorant to know the difference between a teleprompter and a video monitor that passes along notes and locations of journalists.
I explained that to you the first time you confused the two and screwed that up.
You insistent partisan hackery is what makes you a fool. How can you sit here and challenge me to provide evidence while you provide none?
Seriously, how can you do that? Do you take yourself seriously with your childlike double standards?
You blew off the evidence I provided and then provided no evidence of your own in order to cling to your fake criticism.
What is it with you man? Do you love Bush so much that it tears you up that Obama is a much, much better speaker than him and a president who delivers a much better speech?
Are you so hurt by that reality that you have to create an alternative one?
It makes you look wacky dude.

Hannitized claims…
It can’t be used in the way I used it, because I used a noun.
… and yet ‘hack’ only has four meanings as a noun…
n.
1. A rough, irregular cut made by hacking.
2. A tool, such as a hoe, used for hacking.
3. A blow made by hacking.
4. A rough, dry cough.
…none of which would make sense in the context of your original statement…
Rob port is a hack
Wiggle, squirm and dissemble all you want, Hannitized, your blunder is abundantly apparent.

Are you a little kid PP? I didn’t use the word you are quoting. I was calling Rob a hack, as in Partisan hack, political hack.
Don’t be a 4th grader, you look like an idiot.
Hannitized
Here PP, read this and grow you you infant.

Well, Hannitized, if only you had used the term “political hack” in the first place, instead of “hack”, we might not be having this discussion, now would we?
None-the-less, if Rob were a “hack” as you said, or “political hack” as you now claim you meant, you wouldn’t be allowed on this site if he were either, would you?
Mickey
Debating the virtue of teleprompters. Funny.
Reagan was a true leader, Obama is a true fraud.

Well, Hannitized, if only you had used the term “political hack” in the first place, instead of “hack”, we might not be having this discussion, now would we?
Or…….if you just took my word for it when I clarified early on in the thread.
Really PP, your use of the verbs or nouns you dug upu don’t even apply.
None-the-less, if Rob were a “hack” as you said, or “political hack” as you now claim you meant, you wouldn’t be allowed on this site if he were either, would you?
Not true at all. On the show crossfire, Jon Stewart called both of them partisan hacks, and of course they have both sides of the political spectrum on the show.
There is nothing in any definition you can find of either terms that specifys a hack limits speech to one side of the isle.
Well, Hannitized, if only you had used the term “political hack” in the first place, instead of “hack”, we might not be having this discussion, now would we?

Rob is more of a partisan hack, than political….but you get the idea.
somebody who devotes him/herself to party-political machinations.
Ok, that’s good. Because Rob could indulge on “political machinations” and bar you from SAB… which he has NOT done.
There. Feel better?

hacktacular
quality of particular hackiness by bloggers or TV commentators who are motivated by their political leaning rather than a desire to present the truth
Hacktacular alert! Read what (fill in your own suggestion) says about (fill in your own favorite) today!
Yes, sanni, socialized healthcare is a joke. Glad you finally got the punchline, you whiny, lying, racist cunt. That is what the topic is, how big a joke socialism and socialized healthcare are.
Hannitzer. Rob will never admit error. He supports the party of individual responsibility (for others and absolutely none for them). They are the ones who take democrats to task for the ‘do as i say, not as i do’ hypocrisy (despite being arch-purveyors of said hypocrisy themselvs).
you knew that. nothing surprising here (to say nothing of the fact that raygun is an idiot. see his ‘alien invaders’ speach to the un. he began the republican addication to spending without paying to create the illusion you aren’t spending while you deliver high rhetoric against spending.). nothing surprising here.
WOOFX
Ron’s just whorin for the AMA in that 1961 speech.
Later he and them accept Medicare.

Hannitized, from way up the thread:
Everyone who is honest knows Obama delivers great speeches and interviews without the use of a TelePrompTer.
If this is such common knowledge, name one instance.
http://sayanythingblog.com robport
So, Obama sometimes answers questions without a teleprompter.
But those answers weren’t great. I hear stuttering and stumbling. And you said “great speeches” without the teleprompter.
You’re linking to press conferences and town halls, genius.
I doubt you’ll ever be convinced, Hannitized. Because you start with the assumption that Obama is right and everyone else is wrong and work from there.
Which is sad. Most of us like things like “reason” and “facts” and “critical thinking.”
http://sayanythingblog.com robport
Not to inject myself into this debate over what kind of a hack I am, but I would note that I’m not exactly a partisan hack. I was extreme critical of John McCain in the last election and urged people not to vote for him.
I was also critical of our Republican Governor, and indeed would not support him should he choose to run against our incumbent Democrat Senator.
So there’s nothing really partisan about me.
http://sayanythingblog.com robport
Hannitized,
Rob, you hack….if Obama can’t speak without a teleprompter, it’s up to you to prove he can’t.
You said:
Everyone who is honest knows Obama delivers great speeches and interviews without the use of a TelePrompTer.
I’m assuming that you see yourself as honest, and that you see me as a “hack.” So consider this a good-faith effort to get your help in me being less of a hack.
If Obama’s non-teleprompter speeches are great, I’d like to know of one so that I can review it in consideration of your comments.
Seems like a reasonable enough request.
http://sayanythingblog.com robport
Name one instance of common knowledge???
One instance where Obama delivered a great speech without a teleprompter.
Man, the public schools really failed you didn’t they?
