Romney’s Moment Upstaged By Rubio

Maybe it’s the fact that I’ve never really liked Mitt Romney as a candidate (I’m sorry, Romneycare still sticks in my craw), but I wasn’t all that impressed with his speech tonight. In fact, I thought Florida Senator Marco Rubio’s speech was much better.
Rubio was animated, and full of passion, and did well to get the event back on track after a not-so-greaet appearance by Clint Eastwood. Romney, who didn’t give a bad speech by any stretch, seemed plastic by comparison.
