Reporter In Big Media Newsroom: Media Is In the Tank For Obama
Glenn Reynolds gets an email from a journalist working in a big media newsroom:
Off the record, every suspicion you have about MSM being in the tank for O is true. We have a team of 4 people going thru dumpsters in Alaska and 4 in arizona. Not a single one looking into Acorn, Ayers or Freddiemae. Editor refuses to publish anything that would jeopardize election for O, and betting you dollars to donuts same is true at NYT, others. People cheer when CNN or NBC run another Palin-mocking but raising any reasonable inquiry into obama is derided or flat out ignored. The fix is in, and its working.
Tell us something we don’t know. It took weeks before video of Obama’s politically inconvenient pastor damning America from the pulpit broke through to the big media, and we’re still trying to find out the whole story about Obama’s connections to people like William Ayers, but within days of Sarah Palin being picked as McCain’s VP there were already rumors being circulated by reporters that she’d faked her pregnancy to cover up her daughter’s pregnancy and an army of muckrakers were booking flights to Juneau and Anchorage.
I wish that people like Glenn’s anonymous source would step forward and testify to what’s going on. Because slanted, agenda-driven journalism has a lot to do with what’s wrong with this country.
