Reporter In Big Media Newsroom: Media Is In the Tank For Obama

Glenn Reynolds gets an email from a journalist working in a big media newsroom:

Off the record, every suspicion you have about MSM being in the tank for O is true. We have a team of 4 people going thru dumpsters in Alaska and 4 in arizona. Not a single one looking into Acorn, Ayers or Freddiemae. Editor refuses to publish anything that would jeopardize election for O, and betting you dollars to donuts same is true at NYT, others. People cheer when CNN or NBC run another Palin-mocking but raising any reasonable inquiry into obama is derided or flat out ignored. The fix is in, and its working.

Tell us something we don’t know. It took weeks before video of Obama’s politically inconvenient pastor damning America from the pulpit broke through to the big media, and we’re still trying to find out the whole story about Obama’s connections to people like William Ayers, but within days of Sarah Palin being picked as McCain’s VP there were already rumors being circulated by reporters that she’d faked her pregnancy to cover up her daughter’s pregnancy and an army of muckrakers were booking flights to Juneau and Anchorage.
I wish that people like Glenn’s anonymous source would step forward and testify to what’s going on. Because slanted, agenda-driven journalism has a lot to do with what’s wrong with this country.

    While I am thrilled to see that Chief got himself a bearded spokesperson (I dare not say spokesMAN), somehow it seems the latter might lack the eloquence and poise (yes poise counts, just ask Sarah) of the former.

    Rodney, might I suggest spending more time grooming your moniker’s beard and less time answering questions for others, especially when your replies are so superfluous that they border on idiotic.

    On a side note, since none of us here are for McCain, entre nois (that’s French for something, I forget), entre nois, somebody ought to have told the old man (let me spell this one out for you, so nobody drags Goldwater into this by mistake – I mean McCain), in any case, somebody ought to have told the old man – hey, speaking of old, Chief, are you enjoying the length of this run on sentence? – in any case, somebody ought to have told McCain that biting the hand that (watch out for the mixed metaphor here) biting the teat that breast fed his campaign and then resurrected it from complete oblivion, is probably not a good idea.

    And now, for the hard of hearing, lemme splain somethin to ya, homies: hand=teat=media. That’s the metaphor.
    Biting media that ….well, you get the point.

    P. Keep trying to translate nem. I have been to visit quite a former eastern block (slaves to USSR) countries and talked extensively with the former slaves. This is what happens when communist is let free to enslave, murder and take over free countries. Innocent civilians are murdered. by the millions!

    There are quite a few books documenting the media bias. If you are interested, I will suggest a few. One in particular was written by a journalist who worked for them for about 28 years.

    Gutter language:

    Prejudicial language (non PC) unless used by liberals: old man, dumpster diving, kids

    Well CNN, Fox and MSNBC broadcast on cable/satellite. The FCC is only for channels that broadcast over the airwaves. That’d be NBC, ABC, CBS primarily.

    But, not being a liberal, I’m not really interested in using the FCC to goon squad these idiots into reporting how I think they should. I’d ust like to see them quit pretending like they’re objective.
