Repeating Rev. Wright’s Statements Is Just “Spreading The Poison”

An excerpt a discussion on CNN between Anderson Cooper, Joe Klein and Hillary Clinton supporter Lanny Davis.  They were talking about Hillary Clinton’s assertion that Rev. Wright wouldn’t have been her pastor.

DAVIS: I think it’s a legitimate way that she said it, which is that she personally would not put up with somebody who says that 9/11 are chickens who come home to roost, that Israel is a state-sponsored organization — nation, and that there are generic comments made about America…

KLEIN: Lanny, you’re doing it right now.

COOPER: Lanny, it is amazing. Lanny, it is amazing. I’m not taking sides here, but we all know what the comments were. It’s funny that you feel the need to repeat them over and over again.

DAVIS: It’s appropriate.

KLEIN: You know, Lanny, Lanny, you’re spreading the — you’re spreading the poison right now.

So, wait.  Obama gets a pass on choosing to sit in Rev. Jeremiah “God Damn America” Wright’s congregation for two decades, but Obama’s political opponents can’t repeat Wright’s comments on television too often?

Double standards, anyone?

Lanny Davis must be very handsomely rewarded for his loyalty to the Clintons.  Last night he was on FNC ripping Col. David Hunt for stating the Hillary Clinton lied, rather than misspoke, when she talked about all that dangerous sniper fire on her trip to Bosnia with her 15 year old daughter, Chelsea.

Colonel Hunt, was head of security for that trip, ironically.

What Hunt was too gracious to ask was if Hillary was merely confused, and had actually misspoken, what sniper fire incident had she experienced that she had confused with her trip to Bosnia?  Davis, of course, would have had no answer for that.

Spreading the truth is more like it.  The MSM is trying to to mute the truth...usually they just fail to report on it.

I think Wright and his black liberation theology have been spreading racist poison for decades.

Excellent question. It’s is beyond reason why that has yet to be asked.

It’s not like Lanny Davis is Mr. Honesty, he’d probably lie if asked. He is after all, in the same calumnious club with Bill, Sandy Berger and the prevaricatious Gore.

As if spreading it is somehow worse than saying it in the first place!


A troll is someone who only wants to stir up trouble, not have an honest debate.  Some signs that a poster is a troll:
* Dodges questions from other posters * Refuses to give sources
* When one of its arguments is shown to be false, either ignores the proof or moves the goalposts.  Heh. (From the LGF faq)
