Red-Hot Movie Starlet Hates “The White Trash, Hillbilly, Anti-Gay, Super Bible-Beating People”

Megan Fox says that if she ever had to negotiate with Transformers villain Megatron, she’s strike a bargain with him where he could take out all the dumb rubes in middle America but he’d have to leave all the super-cool liberals on the coasts alone.

The “Transformers” bombshell-cum-uninhibited philosophizer also contemplates — reluctantly — what she would say to Megatron to keep him from destroying the world. “I’d barter with him,” she muses to the July issue Total Film UK, “and say instead of the entire planet, can you just take out all of the white trash, hillbilly, anti-gay, super bible-beating people in Middle America?”

The nicest thing you can say about this oh-so-tolerant-of-people-with-different-beliefs comment is at least she’s being consistent in her embrace of liberal orthodoxy.  As Allah at Hot Air points out, a true liberal would negotiate with Megatron.

By the way, notice the double standard.  It’s ok to talk about mass genocide as long as the target is “white trash” conservative-minded people.  But imagine if Ms. Fox had aimed her comments at, say, the gang-banging, crack-smoking residents of Harlem?  Or South-Central LA?  If she’d done that her career would be over.

Nasty, unfair stereotypes are ok as long as you’re making them about the right people.

So why should you care what Megan Fox thinks about much of anything?  You shouldn’t, really,  I’m just using this as an excuse to post a picture of her.

I’d say “boycott her films,” but to be honest with you I’m still pretty much going to see anything Megan Fox is in.
