I have not seen the video of what happened, however she was still 14 years old.  Akon should be held responsible for his actions and the girl’s parents.

First, the young girls snuck into a 18 and over club with a fake id. It’s reasonable to assume that the girl is old enough to be their being that she had to present id. This is the only time where the artist is not as fault. However, it shows why we black women are considered hoes. There are many kinds of rape. In this case it’s statutory rape at the least. Even if he didn’t know she was only 14, that does not change anything in the eyes of the law. It is his responsibility to verify her age. Do I personally think charges should be pressed? Given the circumstances, not in this particular case. But it definately shows Akon’s moral character. If he had gone further sexually, I’d say throw his ass in jail.
