Qana, The Director’s Cut

Read the whole thing.

What's amazing to me is the fact that this mounting evidence (which I've posted about previously here and here) to suggest that the photos and reporting that came out of Qana after Israel's attack on the rocket site there was little more than propaganda staged by Hezbollah symapthizers has gone largely uncovered and unexplored by the media itself.

This, of course, is the same media that will go to any lengths to expose the Bush administration's covert anti-terror efforts in the form of things like the NSA's monitoring of domestic phone calls and the Treasury Department's tracking of international terror funds. We can argue about whether or not the media's exposure of those things was a good idea, but what should be clear is the double standard the media uses for our government and our enemies.

Claims from the government are always held to careful, exacting scrutiny. Claims from our enemies rarely are.

That's pathetic.
