Possible Clinton/Obama Ticket?

Is that the ultimate outcome for all this liberal infighting?

NEW YORK (CBS) ― Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton hinted at the possibility of a Democratic “dream ticket” with Sen. Barack Obama.

Speaking on “The Early Show” on CBS, Clinton said “that may be where this is headed, but of course we have to decide who is on the top of the ticket.”

Clinton said the race between her and Obama remains “incredibly close,” with just “smidgens of difference” between them in both the popular vote and number of delegates.

That would certainly serve to unite the left against McCain who is still suffering from lackluster support from his base.

Of course, then there’s Nader, but I don’t see him repeating the influence he had on the 2000 election.

I don’t think Obama would mind having Hillary as Vice President for a running mate.  Atleast he can keep her under control.

I don’t see how this would benefit Obama at all.  His whole appeal is electability; having her on the ticket would bring out all those voters who can’t stand her.  And while she argues she has more experience than him, neither of them have enough of it to counter McCain.

Alienate the Democrat racists and sexists both?

What’s going to happen to US industry when the global warming extremists like John McCain double the price of electricity?  I would think all these factories will close and set up in countries where they aren’t scared of technology.

I couldn’t imagine her ever accepting a VP slot, she has to know she could do more damage as a Senator IMO. And this would have to be a non-starter for Obama: he could never recover from being a VP to Hill, he would eternally be branded as an insider, a part of politics-as-usual scene (like he’s not anyway), and certainly not an “agent of change.” Plus, I think Hillary would be leery of him stealing any of her spotlight.

Rush just said that he’d love to see a Barak Obama/Hillary Diane Clinton ticket.  He couldn’t wait to see Hillary Diane push for impeachment for some reason or another.
