Police Use Topless Women To Lure Citizens Into Crimes Of Public Lewdness

A guy spots a pretty girl in the park sunbathing with her bossoms out.  He stops and strikes up a conversation.  She flirts with him, and eventually asks him to pull his penis out.  He does, and is suddenly put under arrest by cops who swarm out of the bushes.

Make sense?  Now, granted, he probably shouldn’t be pulling his penis out in a public park, but then there’s the question as to whether or not he would have pulled it out if the pretty topless girl who was working for the cops hadn’t asked him to.

What’s more, ABC News chose to report this story under the headline: “Topless Woman Lured Perverts in Police Sting.” We’re supposed to believe that a man, asked to pull his penis out for a pretty half-naked woman, is a pervert?  Obviously doing such a thing in public doesn’t represent the best use of judgment, but a pervert?

Sounds like a normal, healthy male to me.

Frankly, with the American prison population soaring, I’m wondering why cops are trying to lure citizens into exposing themselves in our parks using topless babes instead of catching real criminals.

This isn’t cops fighting crime.  This is cops with too much time on their hands.

Ummm, if it were me, the pre-trial conference would go along the lines of yep, I’m guilty but mr. prosecutor you’re going to drop all charges and advise training seminars for the p.d. on how to conduct sting operations, the employee of the p.d. broke the law and encouraged me to do the same which constitutes entrapment. I also want either the police department and or the prosecutor to reimburse me for lost wages appearing and attorney costs & I insist the payment come out of the current fiscal year budget, otherwise, see you in court & I’m inviting the media to take pictures of the topless woman in the park.

All of those fat bastards in shorts and tee shirts are members of a police department?  Sheesh, some PDs have astonishingly low standards.

There’s no way that this guy will be convicted.  If there is, then the Paulbots, Kookcinichettes, and the DKostards have a point on that fascism screed.

Ok,

I think I am missing something here.  Is it LEGAL for women to sunbathe topless in a public park in Ohio?

I know you can go topless on the beacj in South beach, FL, but public parks in Ohio?  I mean, there are KIDS playing in those parks, right?

Wow, I just read that topless sunbathing by women IS legal in Columbus Ohio Parks!!!!

I don’t mean to sound like a prude, but geesh.  How the hell did they ever get THAT law by the local churches?

Since these are PUBLIC PARKS (i.e., paid for by taxpayers), have they given no consideration to people who might find this offensive?

Can a woman just walk around the park topless and ever guy that hits on her gets arrested?

Bill Mitchell on December 28, 2007 at 06:29 pm

Where is the link to this story?  Where is this happening?  The video has no sound so we can’t tell what is going on here at all?

I’m ready to be outraged Rob, but c’mon.  Where is the story behind this accusation of yours?

Yes, there are gangs of illegal aliens killing innocent civilians, cops and each other!  Either they are scared to confront the evil killers or want to pick on easy prey.

The high temperature in Columbus today was 45° F.
By next Wednesday the high will be down to 23° F.

Nothing says “high beams” like topless sunbathing in Columbus! wink

That’s about as clear cut case of entrapment as I’ve ever seen.

To constitute entrapment the question has to asked: Would the subject have acted in the same manner if not enticed to do so?

If the target is a known weenie wagger that’s one thing. But to create a circumstance and lure someone who otherwise wouldn’t have done this into committting a crime is another.

You know, I hate crap like this. It gives cops the kind of reputation that tars us all with the same brush.

Assume that everybody is a low-down dirty cop looking to take you to jail.

Great society they’re attempting to build. The lesson is to trust nobody. The police state marches on.

likwidshoe on December 28, 2007 at 07:48 pm

Here’s another link. In New York City, it is illegal to be a good Samaritan. If you find a wallet or bag on a subway and think that it would be nice to return it to its rightful owner - stop right there. Don’t pick it up unless you’re willing to risk a criminal record.

Again, what a great society the police state is making for us. Why,..I feel safer already knowing that the good people are getting punished.

likwidshoe on December 28, 2007 at 07:57 pm

I’ll tell you something else about this that is truly stupid and tragic:

If this guy, who just thought he was geting lucky in a park with some babe, gets convicted of this he will BE LABELED AS A SEX OFFENDER FOR THE REST OF HIS LIFE.

His life will be ruined. There are no categories, not gradient levels of being a sex offender. This guy will be in the same class as the John Coueys of the world in the eyes of the law and will have to register as a sex offender.

That means he has tell his neighbors, the local police department if he moves, he can’t live near a school, etc.

This SUCKS.

Lik, your linked article says the cops were leaving unattended bags around the subway.
Isn’t that a security risk?
Is it normal for bags to be lying around in the NY subway system?
I just can’t understand it. We haven’t had trash cans in our subway system (or train stations for that matter) for twenty years, because of the risk of bombs. If people find unattended bags they are invariably reported to station staff or police, because of the possibility of terrorist attacks.

Are New Yorkers really that complacent already?

It seems sexist to me that women can show their goodies in Chicago but men can’t show theirs.

Marty, the story is at the link.  Gene found it.

The police also place fake drunks outside a bar 3 a.m. in the morning.  Whoever tries to rob him gets arrested.

They also place luxury cars with the key in the ignition while the driver’s door is open in urban ghettos.

Less worse accounts of something that is wrong.

The media’s presentation of this event is extremely unbalanced, just in saying “Topless woman lured perverts in Police Sting”.

Now all the suspicious housewives will be more fraught with fear.  They are legitimizing a paranoid nation out of something that really isn’t there.

The police also place fake drunks outside a bar 3 a.m. in the morning.  Whoever tries to rob him gets arrested.

That’s a bit different. That is a clear case of someone trying to hurt someone else.

That criteria doesn’t exist with the park case and the good Samaritan case.

likwidshoe on December 28, 2007 at 09:09 pm

My bad Rob—I saw the title of that previous post “How is this NOT Entrapment” and assumed it was the same one that was posted last week.

Now, if I’m alone in a park with a beautiful woman exposing herself to me and she asks me to expose myself in turn, well, who am I to refuse such a request?

These cops have way too much time on their hands and I hope they get their asses kicked soon.  And as a strong supporter of law enforcement I’m not one to say that sort of thing lightly.  They are a disgrace to the badge.

I mean just think about this.  The police captain comes up to one of his female officers:

“Hey we want to capture perverts in the park.  You have a great rack, wo why don’t you lay around in only a g-string next to this neigborhood and see who we can catch...”

It’s lurid.

I still find it amazing that going topless publicly is permitted in Columbus, Ohio of all places.  South Beach, FL I can underatnd because of it’s international flavor and heavy European influence, but Columbus?

P.S., From a “sexual” standpoint, a woman’s breasts are equivalent to a man’s penis.  They are the pre-dominant sexual organ from a “visual enticement” viewpoint.

That was NOT sunbathing. I’m sure its legal to undo your bikini top when you’re getting a tan, but this woman is sitting in the shade.  Rolling around with your breasts exposed, and barely anything else on is indecent.

If this guy had walked over to her with his thing hanging out, that would be one thing. But it took an awful lot of flirting and coaxing to get him to discretely expose himself. What was she saying to him? Rolling around practically naked, tossing your legs up in the air, spreading your legs, and putting your leg on a guy’s shoulder is enough to get 80% of all guys to expose themselves, whether in a park, church, grocery store, hospital, wherever. Its practically a reflex. This guy showed a lot of restraint, yet he’s a pervert?

Lanie on December 29, 2007 at 07:51 am

That woman was lifting up her legs to show her bought and paid for crotch. That makes her a tricking whore. The Columbus, Ohio are nothing more than pimps.

That is pathetic.  I think the guy should have been a tad more suspicious, and careful, but she’s half-naked and he whips out his ying yang and he gets arrested?

Guess no need to worry about the real criminals eh?  Then the cops wonder why people don’t like them too much.

Unbelievable.  In Chicago, the cops can’t seem to figure out how to keep gay guys from having anonymous anal sex trysts in the public parks.  Those are perverts.

Guys who stop to chat up a semi-nude young lady who invites them to whip out the schwanz in apparent invitation for a risky but quite normal tryst—not perverts.

This country has gone to hell in a hand basket, carried by a consortium of liberal women and queer guys.  WTF?

This is ... uh ... ironical. The police have been doing this sort of thing to gay men for years. Remember Larry Craig? He didn’t even expose himself to the officer. What’s more, he never got to see anything, either. At least the poor guy here got to see some rack!

If the police placed her there and she enticed him to break the law than it does not make a difference if she is an actual employee.  She was still their agent.

I don’t know how she can sleep at night.

I don’t understand the people in charge of those operations.

They are the weirdos not the man, he is a victim of sick people.

That woman is more than a weirdo, she is sick, she is evil.

I would not feel sorry for her if one of those entraped men ever gets revenge.

That whole thing is sick.

Would love to have been a fly on the wall when those officers went home and told their wives they spent the past few days ogling a topless woman as she flirted with men in the park.
