I never mentioned political affiliation, I just said that if someone was socially conservative and legislated or preached on abstinence and was found fooling around with a younger girl I’d mock them. I don’t consider it a crime really, the girl knows what she is getting into by then she is old enough to make decisions. Sure it’d be creepy but she gets to make the decision.

Yes, some girls want to get pregnant but my experience talking with women is statutory rape – particularly the unreported kind, is a lot more common that the public realizes.
Aside from the expenses of having a baby, how is a kid that isn’t even old enough to get a job legally going to afford food for two, an apartment, DAY CARE, and miscellaneous expenses like utilities and medical care? In most states if you are within a certain age range of the minor than it is not a crime. Usually it's about two years so that a 18 year old having sex with a sixteen year old is not a crime.

My grandmother was 15 when she married my grandfather, and they stayed married 72 years until he died at age 95. They had seven kids who were raised in a loving family.

If a 15 year old girl and an older, for arguments sake I am gonna say 30ish (It sounds about right to be a "prominent" politician) Hooked up I'd defend their right to do it…I'd still feel it was creepy but hell its their decision. Did you notice that the "victim" made an obvious mistake when she said that she was 15, born in January of 1993 but the video was made in June of 2008. That would make her 16, and most teenagers are very aware of their age so that would make her entire story rather suspicious. There are many inconsistencies that would make her story seem to be false and that is a disservice and injustice to people who actually are suffering this form of abuse.

Again, a crime is a crime, no matter how you stereotype the perpetrator. Someone who is not a "social conservative"(assuming you actually know what that means) is no more or less guilty than someone who fits another one of your stereotypes, so you betray your own bigotry here.

First off, there's several things wrong with what they did. 1st-they were going to give her bc pills without a pap and exam. This is a no-no, guys. She could already be preggers when she starts them, or have a health issue that contrindicates the use of the pill. 2nd-of course, is that they didn't report the rape. They actually tell her it's statutory rape, but don't report it. No matter how you try to slice it, this would be rape. Just because a girl has a bush and looks 25, doesn't mean she has the sense God gave a gnat. They cannot make decisions that are in their best interest consistently at this age. They got her name and phone no#, could have asked for an address and contacted the parent at the very least. As for men that would screw a 15 year old, that's just sick. Yeah, kids have sex at 15, my daughter got preggers at 17. But the age difference is the big issue. I am lucky my daughter is very mature, wanted to get married and raise her own children, but most kids this age are way too mature. People did marry much younger as a rule in the old days, but they grew up much faster, had responsibilities. Kids now are spoiled rotten. Planned Parenthood is a abortion mill. I would rather send my daughter to be examined by a vet clinic than there.

And Proof, as the father of four wonderful little girls, both my hands are raised. :^) The wonderful fact is that for many centuries, all real men went together to protect young ladies from predators, and the punishment exacted would make the perpetrator wish for prison. Punishing the victimization of young ladies (or gentlemen) by older adults is anything but a creation of feminists. This example makes clear that too many feminists are on the other (wrong) side of the issue.
