Pizza Hut Fires Delivery Guy Who Defended Himself Against Attacker

They waited until the controversy around the story died down, and then they canned the guy.  Because he exercised his second amendment rights and defend himself against an attacker.

So that’s it.  No more Pizza Hut for me.

I agree, but what pizza company doesn’t have this exact same policy?

While I know personal boycotts are pointless, they’ll NEVER get another cent from me.

Like I said before, their food sucks anyway.

Any Des Moines employer should scoop this guy up in a heartbeat.

Everyone has the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.  That includes pizza delivery guys as well.

A political party cannot be all things to all people. It must represent certain fundamental beliefs which must not be compromised to political expediency, or simply to swell its numbers.

I stopped eating there years ago, mostly because their food and service sucks. I’ve seen most of the Pizza Huts in my area go out of business over the last decade. Papa John’s and Domino’s has been trashing them for a while now. I give Pizza Hut another decade at the maximum before they shut their doors completely.

Lessee...I know from experience that Lefty’s Pizzeria in Niwot, Colorado allows its drivers to carry if they so desire.  So if anyone ever gets near there (between Longmont and Boulder), give it a try.  (you were about 30 miles from it on your honeymoon, Rob) I recommend “Craig’s Cardiac Arrest” and their pesto offerings highly.  They also sell some ice cream which is awesome.

Seriously, the link from a link says it well for me; most mass market pizza is awful.  There is a wonderful opportunity for entrepreneurs to remind the public what pizza used to taste like before they gave it over to the guys who would sell their own mother for a nickel reduction in the bill of materials cost.

Sheesh.. there goes my stock in PepsiCo!
Besides… Pizza Hut is my favorite pizza.  I’m fairly isolated and delivery isn’t even a choice where I live, but… if it was and the driver wasn’t allowed to pack, then (like the other commenter suggested) you give me a pizza joint that allows it and I’ll take my business there
(BTW...lil’Caesar’s Italian cheese bread is to die for, hehe!)

in addition to the fact that pizza hut pizza is a lot worse for you than domino’s, i honestly don’t see what pizza hut is doing with their company.

constantly coming out with random varieties of pizza is horrible, and i’ve not had their pasta, but i’m sure it’s horrible as well
