Pin-Ups For Our Troops

Gina Elise at PinUpsForVets.com emailed tonight to say that, with the new year upon us, she’s got another edition of her calendar out and ready for purchase.  Gina’s efforts are endorsed by an American Legion post, and the proceeds from her calendar sales go to help hospitalized and disabled vets.

Now, if there’s three things I think can be said about we denizens of Say Anything they are a) we like helping the troops b) we love us some cheesecake and c) we like ticking off liberals.  Given that, this represents the perfect opportunity to kill three birds with one stone.  Get some eye candy, send a disabled soldier a bit of help and tick off a liberal by supporting the war by objectifying a woman.

Win.  Win.  Win.

You can order your calendars (or posters!) here, and also order some for a wounded or active-duty soldier as well.  And really, why not do both?  The troops are sure to enjoy it.

Friend of mine already hit me up on these. And yea, she is hot, in a wholesome, patriotic kinda way of course! And I still would like to know where she the vintage aircraft and vehicles, another friend has a fully restored Willys and FMC 1ton Weapons Carrier he would not mind having her use next year.

Tell your freind Gina that she’d likely sell more calendars if here website didn’t play music automatically.

I closed the window before the headline finished loading.

I bought a calendar last night (research for some, er, project!)and this morning I received a very nice email from Gina, thanking me and inviting my feedback.

Marty: I keep the sound switched off on my computer most of the time unless I’m going to listen to something in particular, so you couldn’t prove it by me!

A troll is someone who only wants to stir up trouble, not have an honest debate.  Some signs that a poster is a troll:
* Dodges questions from other posters * Refuses to give sources
* When one of its arguments is shown to be false, either ignores the proof or moves the goalposts.  Heh. (From the LGF faq)

Could it be that Marty is still running windows95, and the music makes it load really slow?

Sigh… rasberry

My kids play alot of games, so the volume is usually up when i sit down to check messages & blogs.  And when I hit a site like that, the rugrats always come-a-running to see what I’m doing.  So I click for the [x] as soon as that happens.
