Picture With Sarah Palin To Cost $10,000, And Apparently That’s A Big Deal

Given the amount of attention it’s getting in the media.

Most pictures are worth 1,000 words. Sarah Palin’s are worth $10,000.
During an upcoming fundraising visit to Minnesota, fans are being asked to fork over a pretty penny to have a brief meeting with the ex-Alaska governor memorialized on film.
The April 7 visit includes an afternoon rally at the Minneapolis Convention Center and a $500-a-plate dinner to help raise cash for Rep. Michele Bachmann’s reelection campaign. The evening’s schedule includes a brief chance, for ten big ones, to have a picture taken with Palin, according to an RSVP for the event.

I really don’t see what the big deal is. Palin is a celebrity. Celebrity memorabilia routinely cells for thousands and tens of thousands of dollars. And given that everything is worth what somebody is willing to pay for it, why shouldn’t Palin pictures sell for $10,000?

    If your current health insurance policy costs $5,000 a year, insurance companies will pay you $145,000 a year (2,900 percent multiplied by $5,000). If you’re fortunate enough to be paying $25,000 a year for health insurance, insurance companies will pay you $725,000 a year. There’s no word whether you can purchase a more expensive health insurance policy to increase the amount of money that insurers pay you each year.

    A few weeks ago the DNC held a fundraiser in Washington DC, which featured a speech by 0bama. Tickets were $250. Tickets didn’t sell well so they ended up dropping the price to $100. It’s also interesting to note that 0bama has been having trouble drawing more than 2,000 people to all his free events across the country, by contrast, Palin draws thousands everywhere she goes to events where tickets cost over $100 apiece. When 0bama campaigned for Coakley of MA, he barely drew 2,000 people to downtown Boston, and she ended up losing to Scott Brown. Palin campaigned for Rick Perry on Super Bowl Sunday, and drew over 8,000, he went on to win by a landslide.
