Pelosi Lies, Says Ethics Panel Said Rangel Didn’t Break Any Rules

Earlier today I posted that Rep. Charlie Rangel was the first member of Congress to be held accountable under ethics rules under the Democrat Congress (something that is not the result of our members of Congress behaving themselves). Nancy Pelosi, who upon seeing her party elected into the majority in Congress in 2006 declared that she would help lead the “most ethical Congress in history” is now defending Rangel.
Or, at least, engaging in some willful ignorance as to his ethical lapses. From The Hill:

Speaker Nancy Pelosi said she’s once again sticking by embattled Rep. Charles Rangel (D-N.Y.) — at least for now.
Pelosi (D-Calif.) said during a Friday press conference that she had not yet read the full report from the ethics committee, which admonished Rangel, the chairman of the Ways and Means Committee, for improperly accepting reimbursement for two trips to the Caribbean.
“All I saw was the press release where they said he did not violate the rules of the House,” Pelosi said. “And I think that’s an important statement that they made.”

That’s a funny thing for Pelosi to say given that the report put out by the House Ethics Committee stated specifically that Rangel broke the rules:

The Report further finds that Representative Charles B. Rangel violated the House gift rule by accepting payment or reimbursement for travel to the 2007 and 2008 conferences.

Apparently Pelosi thinks we’re stupid.

She is melting, just like the wicked "witch" of the west!

    Scum

Pelosi should be investigated and then thrown out for her ethics violations concerning the use of military aircraft and catered food and booze at our expense. She is a criminal.

  • sayanything-42

    Her husband is independently wealthy…

  • sayanything-287

This is pure arrogance of power, not a criminal mindset, it is being part of a special ruling elite, a Ruling Class. She honestly believes she deserves these things and that the laws do not apply to those at the very highest ranks of power, especially if they are Democrats.

I am not saying she did not commit any crimes, I am only saying that WE, the American people have too long allowed those people we elect to become full time professional politicians, to have perks and salaries and power that make them into an American Royalty. I do not just blame Pelosi, I blame the people for allowing our politicians to change from public servants to being masters over the governed!

Charge her, convict her, I don't care or have any sympathy for her, but when you do it – ALSO blame the people for allowing this horrific, destructive change from citizen legislators to being a full time master class. The people should demand our legislators only meet and work about half of the year, that they must have other outside jobs while serving and they must submit to living under every law and under every federal program they foist upon the people.

    Apparently Pelosi thinks we’re stupid.

I don't know about that, I'm thinking something was exchanged for that kind of support. Probably cash or bodily fluids, maybe both.

  • sayanything-287

Bodily fluids? Look at her – even a man getting off a deserted island after 50 years is not that horny!

  • spartacus

    LOL ;

  • sayanything-6955

The average man could not consume enough adult beverages without passing out to engage in exchanging "bodily fluids". And to the few who could? Get help fast!

  • spartacus

Ahhh, but Randy, Charlie Rangle is not your average man, so there is no helping him!

  • sayanything-6955

Point taken, but he should still seek help. Fast!

  • spartacus

I also disagree with you on a minor point. Back in the beer can collecting days I had a few from some odd brew company that featured pics of fat women on the cans. I can't remember the brand but remember the slogan "Pale stale ale for a pale stale male". Apparently it's true, beer has been helping ugly people have sex for over 4000 years. If you don't believe that just ask tho mother of Dino, RBB or Hannitized.

  • spartacus

Prison is the best place he could seek help from , and that's questionable. After all every morning he pledges allegiance to his pigment and the entitlements that go with it!

Nancy & charlie ………. 'sorry charlie' ……. be right back … gotta go throw up ….

a three bagger ….two over her head incase one blows off and one over his … he is no prize either…

  • farm4money

one jail cell for both, the perfect retirement home for democrat congress people on the take.

  • sayanything-5371

She is the stereotype of what is wrong with government. She obviously believes it exists to serve her and has no clue about why she was sent to Washington. It does not speak well of the voters in her district that they keep sending such a criminal back to represent them.

  • spartacus

Too big, they'd reproduce. Okay, now I see a reason to keep abortion legal… irresponsible parents not spaying and neutering their Liberal children… and they think lead pills are not humane!

  • sayanything-4603

just proves 2 things -1 when you have no ethics there is no violation. 2 a woman can get laid anytime, hell we should all pat wrangle on the back for nailing that he'd be a better man than most I would have had to hang myself after that.I could have not faced my peers. how do you think she got pomeroy to vote her way
