I think Nancy Pelosi is a fabulous leader for the limousine liberals. Your problem is you want her to support GOP initiatives. Not gonna happen. She’ll have to refrain from using the G- word though. That probably sent about half her constituents into toxic shock.

Timeline: 

1) Rob posts a piece illustrating the rhetorical ramblings of Nancy Pelosi.  Personally, I’m disappointed because it is a rather softball target to aim at.

2) John “Q” Adams calls us whiners because our fahter because we don’t get our way.  (AKA more incoherent ramblings.)

3) Rob & Aaron illuminate the puerility of Q’s comments.

4) Carl B. posts an incoherent rant, filled with personal attacks and other vile shit.

5) Likwidshoes points out (a bit unfairly) that Carl B never has nothing to say.  This is not true of course, because, for example, Carl has a lot to say (of the paranoid ramblings variety) about the Zionist 9/11 conspiracy.

6) Carl B. then blithely says that likwidshoe is doing more damage to his (likwidshoe) cause that Carl ever could.

etc.

Note that none of the liberals were actually able to address any of the problems with Nancy Pelosi’s logic stew.  All they have done is toss out personal attacks, and do everything they could to distract from the criticism of their Aunt in the Attic.

Thanks for the show Carl B and Q.  Once again you have augmented Nancy’s illustration of the intellectual bankruptcy of the DNC in a most excellent manner.

Wow Carl, you off your meds again? And John, What did any of that have to do with N. Pelosi?  My personal favorite from Nancy this week was her response to W’s address. The woman could not look at the camera because she was reading her prewritten"statement". Just 8 minutes after he was done. We are supposed to believe she wrote a 2 page response in less than 8 minutes. Listening to her blathering, I almost would believe that. Did she write it on one of Ted’s cocktail napkins? As for her"ideas" on SS, they are the same as they have been for 4 years, obstruction, obfuscaton, and reversing blame for the whole situation. More same old same old.

I don’t think my father has ever whined.  He’s been upset about certain things, but at least he knew what they were in order to form his own opinion.

Exactly, JO.  That’s why at some point the SC is going to have to be reigned in a bit by the other branches of gov’t.  One of these days, they WILL cross a line that will cause public outcry.

Aaron, I believe they have crossed that line. I hear people who have never uttered a single word about politics within my hearing before, speaking angrily about this decision. To several people in my local area I am known to be political and right of conservative, I have had 19 people in the last 6 days engage me in conversation, all concerning this ruling from SCOTUS. All wanting to discuss what can be done about it. These are not wildeyed backwoods scratch farmers. They are middle of the road, rural bussinessmen and farmers and petro-chem plant workers. Most are Union, and I mean capital U, and Dem. They see this as an assualt upon all they have ever worked for. They are scared this will lead to far worse. I tell them all the same thing, don’t like this?, tell your elected reps! The party is irrelevent, D,R,I, it is all important to hammer home to all of them that this is not what We the People want. And I tell them that Rhenquist is not going to retire, that game mule is going to die in the traces! Sending the whole process higgledypiggledy, like flushing all the toilets in the Pentagon at once. I also believe there will be a 3rd vacancy in the next 12 months. Or sooner.

Seperation of chruch and state works to block any divison of gov’t from establishing a religion, like the CHURCH OF ENGLAND. Not to use whenever you’ve backed yourself into a corner.

I love it when people hit old threads! Nanny has said far stupider things in the last 2 years. I especially liked her Porky Pigg imitation back in Feb. I thought she was gonna go into a seizure on camera. Priceless.
