Pelosi: Americans Will Get Government Health Care For Christmas

I don’t want to understate the threat here to our liberty and national financial solvency, but I think Pelosi is being awfully bold here. Senators like Joe Lieberman and Tom Coburn aren’t going to go quietly into the night on this issue, and with Senators like Barbara Boxer vowing to keep the anti-abortion amendment that was key to Pelosi winning her narrow victory in the House out of the Senate bill, there are a lot more problems here that can be solved by Christmas.

    Pelosi is hardly a source of honesty or ethics. One can never take anything she say’s as sincere. Her single goal is to promote the socialist democratic agenda. It’s all about power and the control of the finances of the American people. Nothing else. “Health and Welfare” is a smokescreen for the suckers who vote for these criminals in the beltline.

    Every private aspect of your life will be pried into and dissected to determine whether you are worth the cost. These people arent’ doing this for us, they are doing it to us.

    Like they need to give us health care in order to do that. And why would the want to work so hard to give a homeless person healthcare….so they can pry into his life? I mean…..your hysteria is so over the top, it is to the point where you can not be taken seriously.

    There is nothing Christian about a socialist/marxist takeover of health care. The government will provide everthing – commrade. I thought Christmas had become politically incorrect. She probably meant by the holiday season or Kwanza or one of the acceptable occasions. Maybe we can have a big party on the next Day of National Service in September.     One is only required to purchase auto insurance if one intends to operate a vehicle on public roads. And for the record, one does not go to jail if one is caught driving without insurance, one incurs a fine. Jail may be the result of failing to pay the fines. Nancy’s bill says people failing to obtain government approved insurance will face jail time and a fine.

    Legally, the government must have a valid reason to pry into your life. When they are in control of the health care purse strings, they will have that justification.

    Homeless people have access to health care, unfortunately many of them are not mentally fit enough to seek it out or follow the advice of their doctor. Are you saying that this massive power grab is to give health care to the homeless?

    I am not hysterical, just paying attention and aware that what is going on is about a lot more than helping the small percentage of people in this country that need it.

    I don’t care if you take me seriously. You have already proven that you are a willing dupe and pawn in this battle and therefore, your opinion is of no consequence.

    Pray tell, which areas do you think will escape the tentacles of the liberal agenda?

    Lasik, don’t kid yourself, it’s lucrative and will be seized under the auspices of fairness. It is slowly but surely being drawn into the insurance mandates, total control will come under this plan.

    Plastic surgery, all that lipo, and tummy tucks and breast enlargement. Wow, I can’t afford any of that(though I wouldn’t waste my money even if I did have it)and most others can’t either. How is that fair? Why should only the rich get to be beautiful.

    Vitamins, exercise clubs etc…….all subject to control since all are elements of a healthy society.

    It’s our obligation to be healthy and if we can’t control ourselves we’ll need help from our nanny in government.

    Rhetorical hyperbole? Maybe, maybe not. I don’t trust these people and it would behoove us all to have a healthy dose of suspicion, cynicism and paranoia regarding this power grab.

    Dino, your sanctimonious BS might wound me if you could point to one post of mine where I said that others shouldn’t be able to go to a county hospital and get the medical help they need when they are down and out. But, of course, you can’t, because I do not believe that nor have I ever said anything like that.

    I am against the government take over and control of the entire health industry. That people don’t have insurance is an EXCUSE because as my husband’s case proved, people in need of health care can and do get it.

    And something else, the chemo he received was an experimental cocktail that he agreed to undergo in conjunction with Scripp’s Medical Center. Due to his willingness to be a part of this new protocol millions of others have benefited. In fact, a good friend of mine is suffering from the same cancer and being treated with the same drugs. She also doesn’t have insurance and is being treated at the same hospital. I pray for the same results in her case.

    Real reform, moving back to market forces and purging govt from the healthcare industry, will enable anyone, even you, to purchase healthcare when needed, from a doctor directly.
