Partisan Reporting

Hugh Hewitt:

Does anyone in MSM have the courage and the skills to ask whether Eric Lichtblau [the reporter responsible for the New York Times stories that outed the confidential NSA and Treasury Department anti-terror programs] is a partisan anti-Bush/GOP hack dressed up as a "journalist," willing to write stories that assist terrorists so long as they hurt Republicans?"

The answer is: Apparently not.

Hugh's got evidence of Lichtblau's bias at the link.

What amazes me is how many in the media still expect the American public to buy into the idea that journalists are "objective" in the face of the sort of agenda-drive reporting we've seen in the New York Times (among other places) of late.
