Great Skit…
My favorite SNL political skit was from the 80’s. They had Ronald Reagan acting like they usually portrayed him when the girl scouts and Hollywood buddies (Jimmy Stewart) were visiting and stuff.
Then they shooed out the public a different group of aggresive aids would come in. RR would be issuing rapid fire orders to do this and that. The phone rang from the Saudi’s and he took it himself. He spoke to the Saudi’s fluently in their language (farsi?).
One of the aggressive aids told him he needed to spread some of the responsibility around. He was keeping too much to himself. RR said “Knowledge is power” and he was going to keep it to himself.
It was a great parody on the way SNL usually portrayed him.
So true
The democrats are really in trouble when SNL picks up on these pandering attempts.
That skit is soooo funny!! I have been playing it endlessly today. “The dessert cart rolls on and on” Bwahaha!!!
