Palin Mocks Obama For Biden’s “Rhetorical Flourish”

Good stuff:

The only thing the Obama administration has to fear is “Biden’s next speech.” Classic.
Meanwhile, CNN suggests that Biden didn’t really say that Obama isn’t ready for this impending “international crisis” that he’s been talking about:

“I question dismissing Joe Biden’s moment of truth-telling as nothing more than a social embarrassment,” she pressed on. “Sen. Obama’s own running mate, the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, has informed us that a serious international crisis is certain if Obama is elected and that he is not ready to deal with it.”
In fact, Biden did not say Obama “is not ready” to handle a national security crisis, but rather that Obama will need his supporters to stand with him as tough decisions are made.

The thing is that Biden did, actually, say exactly that. Not recently, mind you, but back during the Democrat primaries when Biden was prone to being intentionally honest about his running mate (as opposed to the unintentional honest we’re seeing now):

Obama’s not capable of leading this country on national security. McCain/Palin knows it. Biden knows it. The only people who won’t admit it are Obama and his adoring fans in the media.

    “A” plus ! Go Sarah Go !

Yes, please, go. Back to Alaska would be great, where you could continue to bill the taxpayers for working from home.

  • Hannitized

    PP,

    Sorta……but, no, not really.

57 states vs. 47 states….wow. Bitter people clinging to bibles, just a summation of the Jim Webb campaign strategy that won him the election and the spread the wealth gaffe was just a gaffe.

Palin says things she probably doesn’t believe and says what ever needs to be said for the sake of her party. She is clearly not a politician who has made up her own mind.

  • Hannitized

The problem with Palin is she essentially says what other people are telling her to say (The McCain campaign). She doesn’t really say what she feels or what she believes and that is probably what most conservatives like about her, sadly.

Sarah Palin has been reduced to making statements about candidates contradictions during an election process. Every single presidential candidate who spoke the RNC contradicted themselves on McCains talents and skills, or lack thereof. But here they pretend that Sarah has discovered something in American politics. It is simply not true.

Are we supposed to be amazed by Sarah Palins ability to point out the contradictions of the American political process?

    Yawn!

… sorta like Senator Obama’s reliance on a teleprompter-written speech [by someone else] so he won’t slip and makes gaffes like “spread the wealth”, “bitter people clinging to guns and bibles”, “57 states”, etc?

Unfortunately the same is true for Joe Biden. He was Obama’s biggest critic in the debates, and more or less said he has no business even running for President. Now, he has to polish his behind….and it’s not working very well.

Palin, on the other hand, seems to believe most of what she says…and seems pretty in sync with McCain…which is why I don’t really like her.

Ha, I can see the hospital from my house, that makes me a doctor, right. LOL

  • woody

If you don’t like my description of your mother’s actions (trashy and classless), then don’t bring them to the table.

Let me get this right, because my mom think that Palin is a “C” word, that makes her trashy and classless? Or is it that anyone that does not think like you is classless or trashy?

  • woody

I went to the Indy 500, that makes me a race car driver! Come on Ashley, you know it is funny.

HG, I have conservative, moderate, and liberal friends and they all think that Palin is a CUNT! My mom even think that she is the “C” word (for you Ashley). A walmart mom with a 18,000 clothing allowence, don’t anyone see that as a contradiction. All the walmart mom’s I know don’t spend that much in a year.

  • http://sayanythingblog.com/ likwidshoe

woody – Talk about classless, talking about someones mom is about as classless as it gets.

If you don’t like my description of your mother’s actions (trashy and classless), then don’t bring them to the table.

  • http://sayanythingblog.com/ likwidshoe

woody – Let me get this right, because my mom think that Palin is a “C” word, that makes her trashy and classless?

    You got it.

Or is it that anyone that does not think like you is classless or trashy?

    Don’t spin yourself silly, now.

Unlike some people, not everyone that I associate with agree with me, nor do I want them to.

Irrelevant bit of information, but nice to know.

Just don’t disagree with you, egh? You’ll call those who disagree “cunt” and then acted shocked that some would characterize that behavior as classless and trashy.

  • woody

I didn’t say that my mom was a conservative.

  • HG

    Woody,

Do the right thing and “change” your behavior. Apologize to those offended by your crass words about Palin and move on.

  • ashley

pathetic.. I even tried to muster a chuckle…couldn’t…

  • di butler

I have never heard a real man call a woman a name like that. I like how you said it and held on to it, then suddenly decided it was wrong. Only after you didn’t support except from the other pervs did you want to drop it. It’s hard to believe you had a sudden epiphany.

  • HG

One of the most appealing qualities of Mrs. Clinton is her tenacity, her willingness to fight and fight hard no matter the odds. I see the same in Palin only I agree with most of what she says as well. Sarah Palin is a unique personality and will be an asset to the republican party for a long time to come.

  • tothestars2

Refreshing to hear a politician stick to their guns, and not sway with the wind, and not tell the latest crowd in front of them what they want to hear. Like who is going to win a sports contest, or whos’ taxes are going up, and where that tax money will go.

  • HG

Uh, woody, quit trying to find some sort of equivalence between your crass words about Sarah and honest disagreement with Hillary.

It is a double standard. Read some of the comments about Hillary, or Nancy Palosi on this thread.

Did you read the first comment in this thread? Other than that neither Pelosi or Hillary is even mentioned in this thread.

I’m big enough to say that calling her the “C” word is not cool

That’s why I haven’t relented. Unlike others here, you listen to your conscience.

  • woody

Look di butler, I have already said I was wrong for calling Mrs Palin the “C” word. If you want to keep revisiting the issue and calling my mom classless, good luck because I know what kind of person she is and I am and nothing you or anyone on this thread write will change that. As for my manhood, don’t see the relationship, I think you are kinda reaching.

  • woody

I get it, it’s a double standard. You can call Hillary whatever you want, but don’t say anything bad about Carabao Barbie. She’s the holy example of conservative womanhood. This woman has been tearing into the Demo’s since day one. I haven’t heard a nice word from her. She lies (I told the congress thanks but no thanks to the bridge to nowhere, I fired the cook, I sold the plane on E-bay, I haven’t taken any earmarks), she has no idea what the VP job is all about. She thinks that she is qualified because she was the governor of a state with a quarter of the population of Chicago and the mayor of a town of 6,000. That’s like saying, I’m qualified to coach an NFL team beacause I coached a high school team. In my opinion, she is a female bush, except bush is smarter. Ok, calling her a Cunt is harsh, but I don’t like it when she goes to a small virginia town and proclaim that because they support Mccain, they are the “Real Americans”. She know nothing of Virginia, I bet she can’t even pick it out on a map. She is one to talk about “Real Americans” when she gives her support to a party that want to succeed from the USA. She is a constant contradiction, calls herself a Walmart Mom, but goes out and spend over 150,000 on clothes. She is a tool of the right, and Mccain probally was forced to put her on the ticket. I’m tired of people that continue to try and split our country. Mccain and Obama are both honorable men. Compaired to other countries, America is lucky to have them running for president. We are in for some hard times regardless who is the next president and in my opinion we don’t need someone like Palin deciding who is a “Real American” and who is not. Did I mention that she can see Russia from her porch?

  • HG

    I get it, it’s a double standard.

Oh I know you get it, you proved it earlier.

talking about someones mom is about as classless as it gets

Yet you talk about Sarah Palin, a wife and mom, in a manner becoming an adolescent punk.

It has nothing to do with a double standard and you know it.

    Man up woody.

  • di butler

Thank you, Woody, for showing all us women just how unmanly you are. I appreciate hearing a woman called a cunt. You just dropped what little ability you have to discuss issues rationally to a new low. As for your mother, if she calls another woman a name like this it is truly a shame. And yes, it is classless.

  • woody

It is a double standard. Read some of the comments about Hillary, or Nancy Palosi on this thread. Although I’m not a fan of Nancy, some of the comments about her is terriable, and she hasn’t said half the mean and diversive things that Palin has. I’m big enough to say that calling her the “C” word is not cool, but don’t pretend that Hillary is treated with the same respect.

  • woody

A plane just flew over my house, that makes me a pilot. Sorry Ashley, I’m not politically correct, I just call’em as I see’em

  • woody

I didn’t mean this thread, but other threads that do mention Pelosi or Hillary. The comments on there are alot worse than the “C” word.

  • HG

My mom even think that she is the “C” word (for you Ashley).

Well then she has no right to expect anything less from you I guess. You have my apologies for assuming otherwise.

  • woody

The T-shirts said it a “Palin is a Cunt”

    “A” plus ! Go Sarah Go !

  • http://sayanythingblog.com/ likwidshoe

BTW woody, even though I disagreed with you here, you at least showed us that you are capable of holding an adult discussion.

What you’re doing here in this thread? You’re selling yourself short.

  • http://sayanythingblog.com/ likwidshoe

woody – HG, I have conservative, moderate, and liberal friends and they all think that Palin is a CUNT! My mom even think that she is the “C” word (for you Ashley).

So you’re saying that you, your own mother and your friends are all trashy and classless people.

    Can’t say I’m surprised.

  • woody

I can see the rain outside, that makes me a weatherman, Right!

  • woody

What you’re doing here in this thread? You’re selling yourself short

Unlike some people, not everyone that I associate with agree with me, nor do I want them to.

  • woody

HG, my opinion of Mrs Palin is that she is an opportunist. She will say or do anything that will get her elected. Listen to her now, she is setting it up so she can run in 2012, she don’t care about Mccain. By the way, I’m not a liberal.

  • woody

Talk about classless, talking about someones mom is about as classless as it gets.

  • HG

Woof and Woody, I bet your mothers are proud. No? Well at least your liberal peers are. Remember when our moms warned us about the company we keep?

  • ashley

wow… you both sound really intelligent!!! really… the C word……

  • HG

    Woody,

You just described almost every politician. Most of us are not so naive about political ambition and not so crass as to defy decency in our description of a wife and mother.

  • HG

talking about someones mom is about as classless as it gets

I knew you’d come around. Now don’t be to hard on yourself.

  • woody

    Can’t say that I’m surprised!

  • WOOFX

    Why her charity panties will
    go for big bucks.
