Life begins at conception. In 1973 women were told the life growing inside them was a big blob of cells up until the third trimester. We now know that after the 5th week a heart beat can be heard and the spine is formed. It may help you to know that I am against abortion.
My point is that ssince the repubelicans had control of the senate, assemly and the presidency nothing prevented them to legislate against abortion. They did not, leaving it as a campaign issue so as to assure they got your vote by saying now that, correctly I might add, that Obama is for abortion and/or murdering innocent babies. One is true to his colors, and one only exibits them as an atractant.

When I was in my 20’s I thought abortion was an acceptable option. I went with a friend and held her hand throughout the procedure.I saw everything. I changed my opinion on the subject right at that minute. When my then 16 1/2 yr old daughter came to me and told me she was pregnant, I asked her whether she wanted to have an abortion. {Even though I am against it, not fair for me to make her decions}. She told me NEVER. She had watched a video of an abortion in a health class. Of course I also didn’t know at the time she had gotten pregnant on purpose. She has been married 3 1/2 yrs. That baby is almost 3 and she has another baby that is 8 mos. It makes me sick to imagine those poor babies dumped in some storage room, left to die. I think anyone who is o.k. w/ this needs their damn head examined!

The life does begin at conception, the key is to define conception.  From a legal standpoint, conception occurs at the moment the idea is conceived, which is WAY earlier than consummation. That’s the litmus test to the intellectual property. So, extending that concept to human procreation, the moment the IDEA of procreation is conceived, it’s a baby.
