Palin Booed At Rangers/Flyers Game?

Sarah Palin was on hand at the Rangers/Flyers NHL game tonight to drop the puck at the first face off, and according to Editor & Publisher (not exactly an unbiased source) she was booed roundly by the crowd:

You never know where you are gonna find a political scoop, but Lynn Zinser at her NYT hockey “Slapshot” blog just posted that Sarah Palin, in her much-ballyhooed appearance dropping the puck at the Philly Flyers’ opener, was greeted by “resounding (almost deafening) boos from the Flyers crowd.”

The biggest problem: when Palin came out to onto the Wachovia Center ice Saturday night—greeted by resounding (almost deafening) boos from the Flyers crowd—the the two hockey players who had no choice but to appear with her in that photo op were turned into props in a political campaign.

Here’s some video from the event:

There’s definitely some booing going on, but I’m not sure I’d describe it as “deafening.”  I heard some cheering too.

But yeah.  She got booed.  Big deal.

I saw a bunch of people throwing thumbs-down in the crowd behind her too.  So?  Where was this game held, in the liberal-infested northeast?

Hehehehe. Yeah, so what?
Like I said earlier today, watch the BIMBO puck this one up too. This is her crowd, her demo: hockey moms and dads, hard working blue collar…and they love her, they just love her.
She has a real future in politics.  If only she started 6000 years ago when the dinosaurs roamed the fruited plain. What the golly gee willickers did she expect when her negatives are riding above 50%?

Oh she is so gosh darn cute!
Carry on

The GOP Vice-Presidential nominee said at an earlier fundraiser that she would stop some of the booing from the rowdy Philadelphia fans by putting her seven year old daughter, Piper in a Flyers jersey. She said, “How dare they boo Piper!”

Taking cover behind her child.

I really didn’t hear that much booing…. maybe it was because I watched the Texas v Oklahoma game today and the crowd was making the OOOOOOHHH sound all game long as a form of cheering, but it sounded like that to me, not boos…. Kinda hard to tell the difference, but I dunno… sounded normal to me.  Sounded rather encouraging actually

Why is it that the liberal dems often seem so nasty?  Try cutting down the volume sometime and watch the faces on the screen sometime.  I can almost always guess the dem liberals just by their nasty facial expressions and rude behavior.  But the conservatives are portrayed as the rude, nasty ones?  I don’t think so.  Case in point…

That was booing.  Half the crowd are Texas fans and half are OU fans.  So at any one time half the crowd is booing.

goodguy,
The lefties are just stuck in their natural cycle of low self-esteem exacerbated by their self-loathing. When was the last time you ever heard them say anything good. Just like Obama, when was the last time he wasn’t bitching about how bad it is here in the US.It’s kind of like how they mouth platitudes about diversity and then call Condi or Colin a house nigger….Be glad you’re not one of them.

Woof - that’s probably a lot more attributable to Biden.

Why is it that the liberal dems often seem so nasty?

Um….because it is Sarah Palin and John McCain who went on the slimy attack of Barack Obama, while Obama is trying to discuss the issues.

The American public is smarter than voting for a woman, only because she is a women.  And Americans are smarter then to believe Sarah Palin when she told Greta Vansestren that she even knew of Bill Ayers actions back in Alaska before Obama was running for President.

Sarah is reaping what she sewed.

Instead of finding things to attack each other over, why don’t we find areas where we can agree, and find compromise long enough to take a step back and enjoy the recognition of our similarities?

Then, we can take steps forward in a constructive way, together, to tackle the issues where we really do disagree.

Some boos, some cheers. I think she really missed an opportunity, should have strapped on the blades, done the official puck drop and reffed the first period of the game. She damned well could not do worse than the refs that usually work Flyers home games.

If she was booed, and you admit it, why the question mark on the end of your headline?

Um….because it is Sarah Palin and John McCain who went on the slimy attack of Barack Obama, while Obama is trying to discuss the issues.

Ummm….I’ve listened to Barack Hussein Obama…never heard him really discuss issues in a clear concise way…he just rambles on about some “illusive” change. The only way to be sure what change he’s referring to, is to look at his cozy associations over the last 20 years, listen carefully to his propaganda and connect the dots!

After 20 years of indoctrination under Rev. Wright’s Black Liberation Theology…what would an Obama administration look like? Well if you’re white and successful, you’re in BIG trouble…Although he’s an Arab, he embraces his 6.25% blackness and Black Supremacy and White subservience in a socialist/Marxists society is his ultimate goal. He’s gonna get those rich white guys who rule America if it’s the last thing he does!

He plans to disarm Americans first by overturning our 2nd Amendment right to bear arms. He needs to appoint one more liberal to the Supreme Court to accomplish this (the 2nd Amendment came close to being overturned this year, with only one swing vote by Justice Kennedy that saved it). Then Obama’s newly formed Domestic Security Force equal to our current Military will confiscate all weapons.

Sound a bit Orwellian? In Obama’s speech on July 2, 2008 in Colorado Springs, he said he would call for a Domestic Security Force equal to our current Military. Ask yourself why would he feel the need to do this? If you look at his past associations and then connect the dots, it’s not hard to envision the full scope of his plans for this nation.

Can he accomplish it?...you betcha! With the economic meltdown currently taking place in America and globally, the power of America is being shifted to total government control of our monetary system. Control the money, control the power, confiscate the guns and control the people! The stage is being set for the Black’s messiah, that Louis Farrakhan declares him to be….and dumb liberal white folks sucked in by his charisma, who claim everyone’s a racist when they try to expose him, are clueless!

May be they weren’t booing, maybe they were chanting Booooooooosh, Boooooooooosh.  Yeah, that’s the ticket.

I love that lady.  But first, those hockey players looked glad to meet the next vice president!

So they give her the puck, and without thinking she just gives it to the other hockey mom knowing how much it would mean to her.  She is so damn real it hurts.

God Bless you Governor Palin!

Palinisabimbo,

I have a confession.  For some reason I thought you were the guy that said some horrible, nasty things about Sarah and her daughter Bristol way back in the beginning of September. After spending the last couple of hours (should’ve been doing laundry) researching and re-reading, I realized that it wasn’t you.  The guy’s onscreen name is “Buzz”.  Sorry that I mistook you for him. I still don’t agree with you though.  Sarah, if elected, will be a great leader and is in no way a “bimbo”.  Too bad you really don’t know her.

But, don’t get excited, this doesn’t mean I won’t be back to defend her character.  I just needed to apologize for thinking you were really, really disgusting.
