Over The Rainbow

Blackfive has a great story about the good people that make up our Armed Services. They have a link to the video of a news story. Go, watch it. It's an amazing story in which an Iraqi, who was translating for American forces, was murdered in front of his teenage son and his family was then threatened with the same fate. Rob's own US Congressman Earl Pomeroy (D-ND), North Dakota's sole Representative, and several National Guard personnel were involved in an effort relocate this family out of country and to the states. Hopefully, they weren't forced to live in North Dakota as the climate change might have been a bit of a shocker... but anything is better than living in fear of your own life and the lives of your loved ones.

Congratulations, Earl Pomeroy and the North Dakota National Guard. Job well done, indeed!

UPDATE: I just found out this is the same story that Joshua has posted twice on already. You can see them here and here

The French have a history of murdering the families of those who oppose them. Not the person who opposes them, the family of the person. Stumpy! We are awaiting your next enlightened statement with trembling anticipation!

Thanks, Josh.  I didn’t realize they were the same.  Didn’t click for some reason… I’ve added an update.
