Out Of Touch John McCain

You’ve probably heard that the North Carolina Republican Party is running an ad featuring Obama’s hate mongering minister.  McCain doesn’t like that an in fact called the North Carolina out of touch.

This is not an issue that should be let go.  Wright was not only Obama’s minister for 20 years he was also an advisor to his campaign.  Obama titled his book after one of the reverends sermons.  Certainly he has had a profound effect on the person that is Barrack Obama.

Obama’s a mostly blank slate.  The voters don’t know enough about him in order to make a decision of whether he’s someone who deserves to be in the Whitehouse.  Knowing of his connection with Wright, let alone the other extremists he’s buddies with is something the voters should know about.

Too bad for Obama, but voters don’t like it when people hate them for no particular reason.  Certainly John McCain or any other white candidate would be forgiven if they belonged to a church as radical as Obama’s.

What really gets me is that it’s now come out that John McCain has condemned the North Carolina Republican party when he has not even bothered to view the ad. What kind of out of touch with reality fool is he to alienate and important but likely safe state while taking a valid campaign issue off the table when he hasn’t even bothered himself to view the ad?

Who supported this guy in the primary?

Comments

I was listening to Rusty Humphries on my way home from work the other even when the host that was standing in for Rusty basically said that McCain is going to alienate his base if he keeps up with the keep it civil tone, if he keeps it up I am liable to vote for Bob Bahr as the Libertarian right in candidate. This stuff is far game and I am glad that NC decided to leave up the ad.

Wow, I better have another cup of coffee…
This stuff is fair game and should be discussed. I am glad that NC GOP decided to leave up the ad. Who does John McCain think he is to start dictating what is going to be up or not. I don’t like his stance on McCain Feingold that was a horrible bill…

If McCain get elected and the GOP isn’t happy with him maybe they need to find a REAL conservative, McCain is not a REAL conservative and the GOP might be better off running someone against one of the Left in 2012 than putting up with 4-8 years of Juan McCain.

This stuff is fair game and should be discussed and if the DNC had an add like this about McCain they would be running it 24/7. I am glad that NC GOP decided to leave up the ad, the hell with McCain.

If McCain gets elected and the GOP isn’t happy with him maybe the party needs to find a REAL conservative candidate they can be prowd of and rally around, I know a lot of conservatives that aren’t really please and kind of shutter with the thought of voting for McCain. In my opinion McCain is not a REAL conservative and the GOP might be better off running someone against one of the Leftwinger in 2012 than putting up with 4-8 years of Juan McCain. Shamesty and the possibility of him snubbing his own party on a regular basis.

What is McCain thinking?  He cannot alienate the republican party and the conservative base and expect to win in November.  Why is it fair for McCain to bring up that Hamas has said that they want Obama to be president but other republicans can’t bring up Wright?  I personally think that both issues are fair and legitimate stories that need to be investigated further.

The North Carolina GOP Commiteewoman did what she felt was best for republicans in NC.  I am glad that she is standing up to McCain and not pulling the add.  McCain should respect this view.  Some could say that she is just being a maverick.  McCain is the one who is out of touch with reality.  He needs to grow a backbone.

BTW, did you guys here about McCain saying that he doesn’t want 527’s to campaign for him?  What a moron.  It was his beloved campaign finance reform law that created them!

An actual Conservative doesn’t have a clear choice out of the 3.

RebTex on April 26, 2008 at 12:52 pm

RebTex,

Not so.  We certainly have no real candidate to call our own, but the choice is rather starkly clear.  The lessor of evils, while still not good, is not as evil.

Such is the nature of the two party system.

I’m surprised that anyone is surprised.

We’ve circled our wagons and once again McCain is shooting at the settlers and not the Indians.

He’s done this for too long and too often for it to simply be election-time posturing.  I submit that it is really where he is coming from.

McCain should not be confused with a Conservative.  This is just the latest articles of proof to show this is true.

Barr has my vote, as do Conservative Senators and Representatives.  McCain will likely be voted in, simply because the Democrat camp is so badly splintered and that he will be getting a lot of the cross-over vote.

He just won’t be getting my vote.

That is all.

Barr has my vote,

I hope you are joking about voting for Obama.  As a conservative why would you vote for him?  I am not entirely sure I will even vote for McCain this Nov. but what would me voting for Obama do?

Dougee, Bob Barr.

What’s going to happen to US industry when the global warming extremists like John McCain double the price of electricity?  I would think all these factories will close and set up in countries where they aren’t scared of technology.

I don’t doubt you’re right.  The guys dumb enough and arrogant enough to think that once the Dems agree on a candidate things are going to be a whole lot different.

Once he’s got the nomination for Congress or the Senate has he had a difficult election?

Bingo.

Hannitized on April 26, 2008 at 04:24 pm

If McCain is going to win he is going to have to bloody Barack H. Obama and he can not be saying all of the time that he is going to run a clean campaign and that he respects and likes Barack Obama.

Also like somone mentioned that McCain can not be correcting people every time they land a counter punch, if he keeps doing that he is going to turn conservative THAT HE NEEDS TO WIN off.

It doesn’t take much of a political scientist to figure out that Obama is a empty suit that has many flaws and can be easily exploited and when they get Obama on the ropes in the general campaign he is going to have to go for the knock out punch. If he keeps pulling him Obama off the canvas and keeps giving him life lines he is going to get his clock cleaned.

If people think Bush was a weak Candidate McCain is two fold as weak.
