OOPS! Obama Tries To Enter The Oval Office Through A Window

I’m only posting this because of the way the media would have responded had this been Bush. Quite simply, they would have been capering and chattering with glee like monkeys on acid.
But you gotta admit, it’s pretty funny:

It looks like President Obama hasn’t gotten acquainted to his White House surroundings. On the way back to the Oval Office Tuesday, the President approached a paned window, instead of the actual door — located a few feet to his right.

That had to ruffle his dignity a bit.

Obama…may have been distracted by Republicans’ icy reception

Of course, they had to compare it to Bush (can’t resist taking another shot) and blame it on Republicans. If it hadn’t been for the mean, partisan Republicans, Obama would not have made this innocent mistake, which is certainly less egregious than trying to exit a non-obviously locked door.

Don – Note to GOP: Use Obama’s momentum to get things done we know work. If we’re going to spend, spend on power grid, spend on clean coal plants, spend on new, cleaner oil refineries…

You mean condoms and money to ACORN?

At least be honest about it.

    Pretty funny actually.

Several years ago (20 or so) I was in the UK on an extended work assignment. Every day after work I would walk out ofthe building and go over to my car, unlock the door and then stare for a few seconds while I wondered what happened to the steering wheel. Then I would look around to see if anyone noticed my gaff, calmly throw my briefcase on the passenger seat and walk over to the right side of the car – I meant to do that!

Regarding Obamas window…I was disgusted by the medias coverage of Bush, painting him as a bumbling idiot. Same w/Palen, and I really don’t have time or respect with it relative to Obama either–wasted hot air. Go out in a field and scream into the wind then get back to work. There are stark substantive differences. Note to GOP: Use Obama’s momentum to get things done we know work. If we’re going to spend, spend on power grid, spend on clean coal plants, spend on new, cleaner oil refineries…remove capital gains tax to stimulate investments, buy down mortgage interest rates, etc. All those things put short AND long term cash in American “everyman” pockets. Save verbal and written ammo to insure Obama stays hot on terrorists, focused on Iraq transition and on herding Afganistan back in line and terrorists on the run. //ds

In Barri’s defense, the windows around the Oval Office do look like french doors.

And yea, the “media” would be running it 24/7 had W done the same, all the late night jackals would be chattering and howling, and SNL would have a skit on it before the day was over.

If that had been Bush, it would have been the lead story on thebig three

Obama, who was returning from meeting with Congressional leaders, may have been distracted by Republicans’ icy reception to his $825 billion stimulus package,

I will take the high road here and assume this was written tongue in cheek…..

However, anyway you dice this — – >>> its karma baby !

I’d like to contrast this when Bush was caught trying to exit by a locked door in China.

Apparently Republicans are supposed to know whether or not a door is locked while the infallible one isn’t expected to be able to tell the difference between a door and a window.

So many jokes to chose from, but for the sake of E and his/her? demand for civility, I’ll go with this.

located a few feet to his right.

    That’s not how Obama rolls.
