Only In North Dakota
A friend of mine called down to our local courthouse (Ward County) today and asked if it would be possible to have an absentee ballot sent out.
The guy at the courthouse answered “It depends on who you’re voting for.”
He was joking, of course, and was totally friendly and helpful (my friend is voting for Obama). But still, anywhere else in the country and a joke like that could set off a round of lawsuits.
