Olbermann To Bush: Shut The Hell Up!

A bit of support for the free exchange of ideas from a member in good standing of the oh-so-tolerant left:

How do you think Olbermann would react if Bush told him to “shut the hell up?”

By the way, Olbermann’s “Terrorism inside Iraq is your creation, Mr. Bush!” comment?  Is Olbermann really suggesting that nobody in Iraq was being terrorized before we invaded?  Does Olbermann not understand that fewer Iraqi civilians are dying in Iraq now than under Saddam Hussein?

Our invasion of Iraq, even including our own losses, has resulted in saving lives not losing them.  That certain extremist factions are fighting against our efforts to save lives and support a representative government in Iraq is hardly Bush’s fault.  Bush freed Iraq and saved lives.

The actions of terrorists are their own.

Is there a video of this that could get to little Kiethy’s last sentence faster?  I can’t believe this guy is on the air.  No wonder Bill Oreilly slaughters him in ratings on a regular basis.  Kieth, quit your day job, you suck!!!

A political party cannot be all things to all people. It must represent certain fundamental beliefs which must not be compromised to political expediency, or simply to swell its numbers.

Olbermann, Arianna Huffington, Markos Moulitsas [DailyKos], Eli Pariser [MoveOn] and George Soros all share the same fatal DNA: their irrational hatred of President Bush.

All are ardent supporters of Barack Obama!

Uber’s ratings were REALLY bad (1/4 or 1/5) of O’Reilly’s until he started making these totally bizarre, off the wall statements. He’s now basically being an obnoxious, left wing kook. Now his ratings are sometimes nearly 1/2 of O’Reilly’s. And he appears on programs he has no business being on.

Oh, surprise surprise, he’s pushing Obie.

I think this is the same reason shows like Cops and Most Dangerous Police Chases are popular.  People love a spectacle, and Olbermann’s spittle-flecked tirades meet that definition.

Sorta like the ignorant Roman population under the Caesars… “Give them bread and circuses"… at the Colosseum.

The genocide of Iraqis by the U.S. didn’t just start with Bush. When, during the Clinton Years, Albright said that the deaths of 500,000 Iraqi children caused by U.S. sanctions were worth it, it was broadcasted throughout the Muslim world.

The number of Iraqi deaths caused by the U.S. occupation is at least 5 times the number of deaths caused by Saddam.  Iraqi deaths.

ews48 on May 15, 2008 at 11:53 am

There is no genocide of Iraqis by the US.  Saddam Hussein is responsible for the sanctions, since he ignored the UN resolutions after the Gulf War, then raked in illegal windfall profits from his “Oil for Food” scam, while still starving his people.  The truth is that the US freed the Iraqi people from a murdering dictator who did practice genocide against the Kurds.

Lefties lie; it’s all they have.

If you don’t know by now, don’t mess with it.

Hi, Could someone supply a link to the original story or study on the decreased infant mortality in Iraq? I couldn’t trace the original.

I did find this about a study by “Save the Children”
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/middle-east/infant-mortality-in-iraq-soars-as-young-pay-the-price-for-war-447931.html

Cheers,

Wow…

With a rant like that (and all the other ones he’s made) how could anyone ever assume the stuff he airs besides the “special comment” is in any way non-bias?

What will this guy do when Bush is out of office?

Olbermann, you were better on ESPN.

Can’t MSNBC find anyone better then him and Mathews?

Everything you say about the “left wing riff-raff” may be true, but they will be in power for the next 48 months unless Barack Obama is defeated in November.

If he is elected and there is a Dem controlled congress which is likely we are screwed, screwed, screwed.  I wonder if everybody in this country will submit meekly to the Dems agenda and what would be the reault if they don’t.  Certainly, gun prohibition/registration will be on their slate and that could be the straw that pushes us into a civil war.

Keith has been the leading mouthpiece at MSNBC, taking them to the edge of what I would call talk TV.  He went over the line about two years ago removing all doubt about unbiased journalism.
