Oil Tax Town Hall Coming To Williston

Written By:

The push for a simplification of North Dakota’s oil extraction tax just started this week and already it’s one of the biggest debates in North Dakota.

There are a lot of people with a lot of strong opinions about the tax, and to that end Ed Schafer (in his role as spokesman for Invest in North Dakota) is hosting a series of town halls across the state to let the public come in and let their voices be heard.

The first one is happening in Williston tomorrow night,January 27th, at 7:00pm at the International Inn (map).

After the event in Williston there will be events in Fargo on January 31st at the Holiday Inn and then in Grand Forks, Minot and Bismarck on February 1st – 3rd (locations to be announced).
