Oh, No He Didn’t: Sharpton Accuses Obama Of “Grandstanding In Front Of White People”

Well, you can put this one in the “Slap my face and call me Sally” file, because this is WAY over the top, even for Al Sharpton:

Barack Obama made a call for nonviolence in the aftermath of the Sean Bell verdict - infuriating the Rev. Al Sharpton, who accused the presidential candidate of trying to “grandstand in front of white people,” sources told The Post.

Is this the Twilight Zone all of a sudden? Because isn’t “grandstanding in front of white people” what Al Sharpton does for a living?

I don’t like Obama, but what exactly is wrong for calling for a restraint to violence in the issue? Oh, wait…..is it because Sharpton and his “close the city down” rhetoric could be eclipsed by someone like Obama?

Can’t have that now, can we Al?
