Obama’s Visit To The White House Today Was Historic?

That’s what the headlines say:

image

What’s so historic about this?  Don’t President-elects usually visit the out going President at the White House?

Is this historic because Obama is the first black President?  Maybe, but if that’s the case is this just the beginning of a long line of articles about “historic” things that Obama does?  I can see it now:

Obama Historically Sits At Oval Office Desk For First Time

Obama Historically Uses White House Bathroom For First Time

Obama Historically Eats First Meal In The White House

I mean, we get it already journalists.  He won.  You love him.  He’s the first black President.

Can we move on?

He IS the first beige President, but he’s not black.

First Black President “historically” uses Taxpayer funds ($150,000+) to build himself an indoor basketball house in the “people’s” house.

Lets see them talk about that.

Of course it was historic!  Obama is the first BLACK President-elect to visit the White House!!!

Did he have a historic cup of coffee while he was there?  It would be HISTORIC because it would be the FIRST cup of coffee drunk by a BLACK President-elect while visiting the White House!!!

Did he use the restroom while he was visiting the White House!

So much history!!!

Let’s not forget another first to come:
He’ll be the first black President to fuck a white intern in the oval office.

Barack Hussein Obama is not worthy to wipe his feet on the White House rug. Soon everyone will know it!...and he’s not BLACK! But it is historical (or hysterically nuts if you will) to put an Arab African radical commie extremist in as POTUS. The simple-minded uninformed American’s fell for his smooth rhetoric and empty promises. They thought this is “way cool” to elect the first black president. Lord, help America! Four years…it will take a lot to undo the damage he does to our nation!

If this election would finally “make people equal” and eliminate the fake idea than no (you fill in the blank) person can be elected because of (fill in the idea) which was proven, then I would say that it might be worth it.  Like Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton, a democracy can make mistakes.  Some would substitute George Bush and even Ronald Reagan, but that would also be understandable.

I support the President elect of the USA.  He was elected by the people.  This visit was given graciously by Mr. and Mrs. Bush.  I hope that in a future election Mr. and Mrs. Obama will return the same in kind.

Hey, hey, HEY!

Obama be da Second Black pres-i-dent.

Feb 20, 2002 | In her now-famous defense of a scandal-plagued Bill Clinton, Nobel prizewinner Toni Morrison, went so far as to call him “our first black president. Blacker than any actual black person who could ever be elected in our children’s lifetime.” “Clinton,” Morrison wrote in the 1998 New Yorker essay, “displays almost every trope of blackness: single-parent household, born poor, working-class, saxophone-playing, McDonald’s-and-junk-food-loving boy from Arkansas.

Boy, if you can’t handle this, just wait until the inauguration.  Ha!

Puzzlefeet on November 10, 2008 at 06:33 pm

Is it Not Racist to keep saying how Historical Obamas Presidency is? I mean everything he does seems to be such a Historical event! His blackness really shouldn’t be an issue. Especially because he is half white. It is starting to really creep me out how the Left dwells on his Race!

Can’t handle it?  It’s not that we can’t handle it.  It’s that we think it’s funny.  Or would be, anyway, if it weren’t so nauseating.

The purpose of government shouldn’t be to do good, but simply to refrain from doing evil.

I know it’s nauseating for you Rob, that’s why I think you should get prepared for the Inauguration. It comes the day after the MLK day.

And no Zsa Zsa, it’s not racist to talk about the historic event that is taking place and will take place in January.

If Sarah had been the vice president, you would be talking about history being made as the first female vice president in history.

It is historic. Period.

Puzzlefeet on November 10, 2008 at 06:56 pm

IF Palin had become the first female VP? No I would not be talking about how Historical it was. I think it is sexist and racist to even mention Race or Gender. I have notice though how Racist and Sexist the left seems to be to dwell on this though.

Zsa Zsa on November 10, 2008 at 07:08 pm

Rob,
This is really petty. From this point on everything that Obama does will be historic. The same as it would be if a woman or Asian had won the Presidency. Grow up. If you can.

That’s where you are wrong Puzzled and Ollie. It is racist and sexist to define a person by their gender and ethnicity. He should want to be judged on a level playing field. I thought that was what it was all about? To keep mentioning his race seems demeaning, as if that is all he is, Ollie, as a black man, do you want to be constantly called Ollie the black man? Whether you like Sarah Palin or not, she is more than a uterus.

We wouldn’t be seeing this same adoring, fawning coverage of Palin’s historic ride into the VP mansion.

I just think the Obama worship is getting a little tiresome.  As a conservative, I don’t worship political leaders, so that’s probably why.

I don’t want to join the cult.

Nope, Obama’s not a Muslim.

And I’m not sure why people need to spread rumors that he is.  First, there’s nothing inherently wrong with being Muslim.  Second, the actual religion he belonged to (before it became political inconvenient) was loony enough.

She reneged on that…...

Rob,  I did see the video when he referred to his Muslim faith, or, was he NOT telling the truth?  I would say the other historic event is the first Marxist president.

That was a slip of his tongue.  I’m not a Barry backer, but c’mon he isn’t a Muslim. I think that over the course of 47 years we would have more of an indication that he was a Muslim than a slip up with his language.  Criticize Barry for his policies, not conspiracies.

p.s. This is historic for me as well because this is the first time I have read this post about Obama’s historic visit.
