Obama’s Pick Of Rick Warren For Invocation Is A Distraction From Blagojevich
Obama is happily explaining away his decision to tick off his left-wing base by picking Pastor Rick Warren – who oppose same-sex marriage – to give the invocation at his inauguration.
Really, Obama’s pick is in keeping with his own views on gay marriage. Warren opposes it and so does Obama, though I can understand why the left would expect Obama to do the opposite of what he says.
That’s kind of standard operating procedure for The One.
But I wonder how happy Obama is to be answering questions about Warren instead of questions about Blago, of which there are many good ones without good answers from Obama or his people. Tags: Domestic Issues, Politics
