Obama’s Nine Point Poll Lead Down To One Point

Ouch:

Obama’s high point came on July 17th, which was just before he started the Hope and Change World Tour ‘08.  Meaning that post-world-tour bounce in poll numbers the media has been talking about doesn’t appear to have manifested itself for Obama.

Now, obviously, we’re a long way from election day.  The nominating conventions haven’t even be held yet.  But Obama just got done with a couple of weeks of intense media and public scrutiny, and at the end of he went from a commanding poll lead over McCain to no lead at all.

Those numbers for Obama are going to go up and down, but what’s telling about this it tells us Obama doesn’t hold up well under scrutiny.  And that if anyone thinks he’s going to steamroll his way into the White House they’re kidding themselves.

How is “none of the above” showing?

What’s going to happen to US industry when the global warming extremists like John McCain double the price of electricity?  I would think all these factories will close and set up in countries where they aren’t scared of technology.

Whistler,

If “None of the Above” caused a new election where all the above were not on the ballot, “None of the Above” would be leading by double digits.

In other news, how about that dead cat bounce (or was it more of a splat?)…

Funny, BEFORE Obama went on his ‘tour of duty’ in foriegn countries to make himself look presidential, he was up y 6 over McCain.

When he got back he had a bump of 3, making him a total of 9 over McCain.

Shortly after that....he lost ground. He lost the 3 point bump he gained very quickly, and lost even more ground by another 5 points, bringing him within a one point lead over McCain.

If anything I think he did more damage to himself than good.

Merci bo coup indeed Obama....

So pandering to other countries doesn’t improve ratings with Americans?

Who woulda thunk it.
