Obama’s Messiah Facade Cracks As He Storms Out Of Press Conference

It’s not easy when the media starts treating you like a political candidate instead of a savior.

SAN ANTONIO, Texas—Led by the Chicago press corps that has covered Obama for years, the candidate today faced a barrage of questions in what turned out to be a contentious news conference.

Questions centered on why his campaign had denied that a meeting occurred between his chief economic advisor and Canadian officials as well as questions on his relationship with Tony Rezko, a Chicago land developer and fast food magnate, now on trial for corruption charges. . . .

Toward the end of the press conference, the question of Goolsbee’s meeting was raised again. Obama answered curtly and then walked out after a staffer called last question. The press erupted with shouts, but Obama continued to walk out. . . .

On the flight from San Antonio to Dallas, Obama, unsurprisingly, did not wander back to make small talk with the traveling press corps.

It’s like watching a little boy learning for the first time that Santa Claus doesn’t exist.

Final someone in the press is not using kid gloves in their interviews.  His (Obama’s) campaign will quickly come apart if the press asks him the hard questions.

One of the most important talents for success in politics is the ability to make utter nonsense sound not only plausible but inspiring. Barack Obama has that talent. We will be lucky if we escape the catastrophes into which other countries have been led by leaders with that same charismatic talent.

I’d like to see them asking some hard questions about his policy positions.

RBB.  IF you have not been following this Obama question about whether there was a meeting with the Canadian Government or not, that would be an example of not “coming clean”, not telling The Truth.  You can spot someone trying to dodge The Truth because they will not answer the question and I am not talking about speculating about how old the earth is.  He had a direct, simple question.
He passed and I hope the American people now see him for what he is.

OK, here’s what we know—-Hillary has no core beliefs; in fact, her premise—”...yada, my 35 years of public service, yada…” is a lie.  Obama, the man, the savior, cuts and runs when the pressies step out of character and ask him a toughie—leading one to believe the big eared galoot might be an empty suit.  As a new McCain fan, I have to tell you, I’m torn—-which one of these mutts do I want to see him run against.

Up to this point the press has been in the tank for Obama…100 percent.

Most serious presidential candidated have had to face whithering attacks and unnending questions about their past. The result is that successful candidates have a thick skin. This is especially true of Republicans who face far more press hostility.

I believe that process helps prepare them for the rigors of the job.

Obama may become the first president to get elected while getting the soft glove treatment from press and opponents. Will he really be ready to lead the free world when the full main-stream-media has been fluffing him for so long?

Yeah, I can tell because you are dodging the question.

But I will keep my eye on this Obama fellow for you. Did you know he is half black and his middle name is the same as the last name as the guy from Iraq and his last name is kinda like the the first name of the guy bush cut and ran from in Tora Bora?

President Bush did not cut and run.  He served his country.  There is quite a bit of difference between speculating about how many angels can dance on a pin as opposed to:  were you in room 44 on April 2nd, 1997.  Simple question.  Some refuse to answer the question because they know The Truth, but will not tell it.

Interesting that it was the local, Chicago-area press that was, finally, tough on Obama, asking questions of him that that the national press corps has steadfastly chosen to ignore.

It’s becoming obvious that as long as Obama has a script, a teleprompter, and a friendly audience he’s just fine, thank you.  But remove the stage-managed props and the sympathetic crowd, and force the kid to wing it, and he’s just another inept rookie.  Not at all ready fro prime time.

RBB.  This dodge by Obama, and I don’t care to get into the dirt with speculations was reported here:  “Last week, Obama denied an initial media report about the conversation. But after a Canadian government memo surfaced, he acknowledged yesterday there was a conversation.”

This reminds me of the old soviet denying that they shot down KAL 007.  Remember?

President Bush did not cut and run.

Of course he didn’t! “cut and run” is just the kind of meaningless jargon that happens when rbb opens his mouth and his brain falls out.

Obama has not been tested by an unfriendly audience, much less a critical situation.

Keep hammering he can’t skate the media for ever.
Seems that people will see that he has some questionable thing hanging over his head.
