It depends on what your definition of transparency “IS”.

Barack Obama STILL has NOT produced a vaulted copy of his original birth certificate – which in Hawaii is known as a “Certificate of Live Birth.” which anyone can get get Hawaii even if your NOT a legal United States Citizen and born in another country.

As should be readily apparent, the “Certification” (which Obama supplied) and the “Certificate” (which Obama has thus far refused to release) are two very different documents. The Certification of Live Birth–also called a “short form”–contains limited information and is typically printed when an individual makes a requests it.

The Hawaii Certificate of Live Birth–on the other hand–contains information that can be easily and readily investigated–information that could immediately answer one of the main questions surrounding Obama’s constitutional eligibility.

We would know the name of the hospital or facility (we presently do not), where Obama was born and the name of the attending physician or midwife. Following-up on that kind of clear-cut information could put the controversy to rest once and for all.

Then again, changes to the original certificate would also be apparent. And, if that were the case, it could be a big problem for Obama. Reasonable people would first ask WHY changes were made and IF the changes were legitimate.

Discrepancies between an individual’s original birth certificate and the certification of live birth could exist for a variety of reasons–legitimate, erroneous or even fraudulent.

For example, Hawaii Revised Statutes S.338-15, S.338-16, S.338-17, S.338-17.5 and S.338-17.7 actually address the circumstances under which an individual can amend his or her birth certificate (although admittedly, Hawaii is hardly unusual in that regard).

A more modern statute that has gotten a lot of attention on the blogosphere is S.338.17.8 which sets vague standards for the issuance of birth certificates to children not even born in Hawaii.

S.338-17.8 reads:

Certificates for children born out of State. (a) Upon application of an adult or the legal parents of a minor child, the director of health shall issue a birth certificate for such adult or minor, provided that proof has been submitted to the director of health that the legal parents of such individual while living without the Territory or State of Hawaii had declared the Territory or State of Hawaii as their legal residence for at least one year immediately preceding the birth or adoption of such child.

(b) Proof of legal residency shall be submitted to the director of health in any manner that the director shall deem appropriate. The director of health may also adopt any rules pursuant to chapter 91 that he or she may deem necessary or proper to prevent fraudulent applications for birth certificates and to require any further information or proof of events necessary for completion of a birth certificate.

(c) The fee for each application for registration shall be established by rule adopted pursuant to chapter 91. [L 1982, c 182, §1]

If such a practice is codified in Hawaii today, we can only guess at what was going on back in 1961! Such a liberal environment certainly places the possession of a Hawaii birth certificate by someone not born in the United States within the realm of possibility!

And that’s where Obama’s constitutional eligibility comes into question.

Now we’re not jumping to any conclusions.

The problem is that we DO NOT know.

The same can’t be said of those who are spreading malicious distortions.

Apparently, a simple acknowledgement that such a thing is within the realm of possibility, and a request to the man who wants to be the leader of the free world to do something very simple so the possibility of a Constitutional crisis–no matter how remote–can be avoided makes one a “conspiracy theorist.”

I find it very surprising that when I got my first drivers license I had to present the DMV with a notarized copy of my birth certificate but that presidential candidates apparently don’t have to do the same when they file with the FEC to run for president. What’s the point in having criteria for the position if they aren’t going to be challenged/investigated? That said, I think this issue will go exactly nowhere.

He is NOT a natural born US citizen. Barack Hussein Obama is NOT eligible to hold the office of President of the United States. It would be such an easy fix to make the critics go away to produce a legitimate birth certificate if one existed. If you or I were born in Kenya and our parents moved to Hawaii, according to Hawaiian protocol at the time, we could’ve been issued a Certificate of Live Birth from the state, which differs from a Birth Certificate. A genuine state generated Birth Certificate should be issued listing the birth hospital and signed by the delivering doctor, which Barack Obama still refuses, even in court to produce. The only reason to fail to produce the real thing is if it doesn’t exist. They are counting on the media to make enough smoke and create enough rolling of the eyes and blow-it-off attitude to make the issue slide until after our constitution has become a complete mockery by the media and their token fraud.

There are people who will believe anything if it helps their agenda or eliminates a legal candidate. But for the most part, I believe that the mainstream of people do not realize or believe that Barack Hussein Obama is constitutionally ineligible to become the US president because of the media’s continued twisted bias and desperate need to install their hologram celebrity. No one should be surprised that News Corp’s Fox News won’t run a paid ad that documents his ineligibility. Some of Fox News is conservative and constitution conscious, but for the most part, they’ve been a token pseudo-conservative tool designed to move that “slow-moving” red over to the blue. This is the media-made pedestal given to Rick Warren for the exact reason (News Corp’s Murdoch’s pastor) and the reason that he will be giving the inaugural prayer, which I will not be watching.

Fortunately for the US, Barack Hussein Obama failed to show up to meetings and voted “present” so often that undoing his illegitimate work as an ineligible senator won’t be as hard as it could’ve been. But in the White House, he would have to show up for most issues, although we can expect him to continue to lay low on all pro-Israel matters and doodle around in Hawaii when such issues burst at the seams and remain forefront. The eligibility issue will NEVER go away. If he is allowed at this point to forge ahead unchecked in his ineligibility, then it is either a deliberate death sentence for the US Constitution, or we will inevitably face the cataclysmic task of undoing all of the work, including the appointments’ work, of an illegitimate president.

Proof: Your blog post about President Joe Biden shouldn’t be much of a concern about Obama’s inevitable removal because it isn’t as if he will be impeached for breach of duty and be replaced by the next in line. His entire foundation as state senator and eligibility to even run for president is usurped by his lack of constitutional standing. Such a leader-induced and media-facilitated bait and switch would be as unconstitutional and corrupt as inaugurating an ineligible president.

It’s like the media created a glowing celebrity hype around a horribly incapable, absent, and ineligible candidate in order to forward a socialist/communist agenda. When someone is media-hyped into position, it is too late when the inevitable fires of testing reveal the cheap, weak and fake constitution of a non-leader. The Supreme court denied Philip Berg certiorari today, but questions about Obama’s birth record persist. He has never provided his long form birth certificate even after several lawsuits. Instead, he has fought in court to keep it a secret document. On January 20th Barack Obama will enter the White House under a cloud of suspicion about his status as a natural born citizen. This is a shame. All he had to do was shoe the document. This is a slap in the face of every American who cherishes the Constitution.
