Obama’s Biggest Fan: Madonna Compares McCain To Hitler, Mugabe

Just another Hollywood dim bulb showing her ignorance.

Love her or hate her, Madonna’s greatest ability over the years has been stirring up a newsworthy clusterfrak.
Her latest sexually charged live show, the aptly named “Sticky and Sweet Tour,” exploded on Saturday, and it brought down the house. But not for the usual horny reasons, rather for a video interlude that placed John McCain alongside unmitigated geopolitical tragedies like Adolf Hitler and Robert Mugabe.
McCain’s rival Barack Obama was also in the presentation, but was elevated alongside icons like John Lennon, Gandhi and, wait for it, Al Gore. I think it’s pretty clear who Madonna is voting for in the November election.

I always have to chuckle when liberals compare Republicans to dictators like Hitler and Mugabe. As though conservatives (and McCain does trend more toward conservatism despite his ideological imperfections) have anything in common with government-controls-everything totalitarians. Conservatives seek to limit government power, and lower the burden of government on the people. Hitler and Mugabe used/use the power of government to oppress the masses and pursue their own interests.
That hardly has anything to do with being a conservative. Or, at least, what being a conservative is supposed to mean. If people like Madonna want to make comparisons like this they should look at the liberals who are constantly agitating to consolidate more and more power with the central government (nationalized health care, regulations on everything from light bulbs to fuel efficiency, etc.).
The thing is, will Barack “new politics” Obama condemn this attack on McCain and throw Madonna under the bus just like he has other inconvenient supporters like Rev. Jeremiah “God Damn America” Wright and Weather Underground terrorist William “I wish I’d set more bombs” Ayers?
