Obama’s Attorney General Pick Lied About Seizing Elian Gonzalez At Gun Point

Yesterday I highlighted a bit of dishonesty about the Elian Gonzalez controversy engaged in by Obama AG pick Eric Holder.  Today comes another example, this one courtesy of Jim Geraghty:

Eric Holder, the deputy attorney general, appeared on Fox News a few hours after the raid that morning. Judge Andrew Napolitano accused the Justice Department of taking the child at gunpoint. Mr. Holder denied the charge. What he didn’t realize was that he was appearing on a split screen, the other half showing the Alan Diaz photo. “Not taken at gunpoint?” an incredulous Napolitano shot back. “Have you seen the photograph?”

Here’s the photograph Napolitano is talking about:

Discussion question: How does this play into Holder’s opinions about the private ownership of guns?

Some call it revisionist history, but if no-one knows history is it really revisionist?

If he/she is a liberal and/or a Democrat, if their lips are moving they are lying. If they aren’t kissing your baby they are stealing their lollipops. Good Grief, Honest Democrat is an oxymoron!

In keeping silent about evil, in burying it deep within us, so that it appears nowhere on the surface, we are implanting it, and it will rise up a thousandfold in the future.

I recall that incident. Holder was acting on information given him by his staff. Staff’s don’t always tell you everything. He was simply blindsided by the media. That does not make him a liar. If you think it does, he is in good company with a few Republicans I can think of.

The crowd who has been crying about “George Bush’s fascist America” put back into power the real gun toting fascists.

Go figure.

“Change”, right back to the 1990’s.
