Obama’s Approval Index Has Slid 33 Points Since January

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 27% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty percent (40%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -13.
…Overall, 46% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President’s performance. Fifty-two percent (52%) disapprove. It’s sometimes easy to get caught up in the day-to-day fluctuations of the tracking poll and miss the longer-term trend. Rasmussen Reports also compiles the data on a month-by-month basis which shows that the President’s ratings slipped a bit in October after stabilizing in September.

The more Americans get to know Obama the less they like him.

    That is a completely inaccurate and ignorant conclusion from someone who is out of touch with reality.

    Obama is liked, and his likability poll still stands high….because people understand he was handed a disaster from Bush, who people actually didn’t like…..but he still has yet to accomplish things to have a higher approval rating.

    Rob doesn’t understand the difference between approval rating and likability, because he is an idiot.

    Reagan’s popularity dropped because he made hard choices.

    Obama’s popularity is nose-diving because he is incompetent and hasn’t done almost anything he promised to do. Even his own followers are starting to doubt him. He fails on this healthcare debacle, his throng won’t blame the minority republicans for this. It will be Obama’s stretched credibility as being capable of anything but talk that will be destroyed.

    The same people who supported Obama in the election support him now. He didn’t win with 65%, his beginning job approval.

    Go look at approval for republicans in Congress.
