Obama’s Labor Secretary: The American Dream Is Paying Higher Taxes For More Government Services
Speaking to the National Action Network convention (Al Sharpton’s group), Obama’s Labor Secretary Hilda Solis told the audience that the American dream is Americans realizing they have to pay more taxes to get more government services.
Forget that “life, liberty and pursuit of happiness” stuff. It’s all about bigger and better social programs.
I’m reminded of that quote about a democracy lasting only until citizens realize that they can vote themselves goodies from the national treasury paid for by other people’s money.
