Obama’s Economy Creating More Food Stamp Recipients Than Jobs

An ugly reality:

It’s like a corrupt media ritual. The moment a Republican enters the Oval Office, America’s homeless are suddenly discovered, dragged before news cameras, and used as props to prove how heartless the current administration is. But as soon as a Democrat assumes office, the homeless suddenly disappear; presumably to a place with chocolate rivers and peppermint trees that only Democrat presidents are able to magically manifest as soon as the oath of office is complete.

The media’s been even worse with Barack Obama. Not only have the homeless vanished from news coverage, but so have America’s poor. But as NBC’s David Gregory made clear, if you even try to bring up the record number of food stamp recipients Barack Obama’s failed policies have created, you’ll be labeled a racist. …

What is a cold, hard fact, though, is that in the last accounting available to us (May), America’s food stamp rolls increased by 173,000.  In the last jobs numbers available to us (August), only 96,000 new jobs were created.

But remember, Republicans hate women.  Or something.

Liberalism is a species of mental conformity. It makes thinking unnecessary.
Thinking is scary. Liberalism is the easiest route in life one can take–no thinking required.
All you need to do is believe the State run media, and you feel like a member of the herd. The herd protects. They want to belong to the Govt—the “herd”

Strange how the lying libs conveniently forget that when Obama came into office, he and his staff were quite clear that their policy was to “never let a crisis go to waste”. In other words, a crisis presented them an opportunity to enact liberal policies that would be rejected under normal circumstances.
So here we are nearly 4 years later, dealing with the failures of those flawed measures that normally wouldn’t have passed, and the Dickspittles of this world get all pissy when you point that out. But it is the same old tired pattern that the libs have put forth for decades as an answer to their failures; “it will work if we only could get more time and money”.
Obama poured more money into his phony baloney Stimulus Package than Bush spent on the War on Terror in his entire term and it failed miserably in even meeting his own projections for it. Yet the response from Obama and the liberals is “it will work if only we put more time and money into it.” But instead of the Stimulus being a “one time expenditure” it has been base line budgeted for every year since and so we have given the libs “more time and money” and yet the economy remains in a death spiral.
Even when covered in soot from their policies blowing up in their faces, liberals cannot make the intellectual leap to admit that they have failed. On a gut level they know that they have, but they simply cannot admit the fact of it. So instead, bitter and resentful, they attack anyone else who puts forth policies that may work. They would rather everyone wallow in the failure that they are responsible for than allow them to live in a world of success that liberals could not create.

      • robert108

True. No liberal program ever fails; it just wasn’t big enough or expensive enough. Marxists essentially claim that their ideology has never worked because it hasn’t been “tried by the right people”. You have to ask yourself why they think Americans are the “right people”.

  • mikemc1970

The press believe there is a moral imperative to reelect Obama. They don’t care that he’s totally inept. They don’t care that he has zero leadership skills. They don’t care that he’s broken most of his promises. They don’t care that his fiscal policies have taken US to the brink of economic ruin. They don’t care that his foreign policy is swiftly bringing the middle east to nuclear armageddon. In their eyes, and the eyes of all leftists, we have to reelect Barrack Hussein Obama, because he’s black, and we have to prove we aren’t racist as a nation. That’s the only reason.

The spin warriors are awake and pushing the cause to keep the rich from suffering. Get to work gang. Use the dog whistler words and don’t forget the spinners have kicked it up a notch. Now go for the big one and call all progressives Marxist. We gave up on the word socialist because it seems to be working in to many countries. Todays bonus goes to the spinner that can blame the drought on Obama.

      • toomuchguvmint

Google Frank Marshal Davis and learn about progressives.

How racist of you to assume that all these food stamp recipients are black.

      • mikemc1970

Poor, poor Lickenbuttle, please name the countries socialism is working in. And it’s not a dog whistle. It’s an idiot whistle, because only useful idiots ever hear it.

      • robert108

Why do you want anyone to suffer, sockpuppet? The free enterprise system gives us all the opportunity to prosper, if we make the right decisions. Waiting for a handout, while whining about the achievers is not the right decision for prosperity.

  • VocalYokel

    It creates government jobs.
Takes a lot of bureaucrats to dispense the goodies from the Big Rock Candy Mountain.

  • alanstorm

In food stamp rolls increased by 173,000
increase in # of jobs: 96,000 (BTW, we need 125 – 150K just to keep up with population growth)

These are what intelligent people call “numbers”, sometimes called “hard numbers”.

The only spinning here is inside your head. Try using it for something other than a doorstop.

You don’t get democrat votes in elections if alot of people are successful and earning a good living, you get votes for democrats if more and more people are on welfare and food stamps, just the way it is now days.

  • Snarkie

The ugly reality is that people who claim to be conservatives recieve foodstamps at much higher rates than people who don’t.

    • robert108

Another total lie from you, but it’s no excuse for obama’s attempt to enslave the American people with money borrowed from China.

    • http://realitybasedbob.sayanythingblog.com/ realitybasedbob

Now now Snark, why are you trying to confuse our nutters with actual facts?

      • http://proof-proofpositive.blogspot.com/ Proof

Facts? Factless Nutterbob, the ugly reality is that you and Sparkkkie, or whatever he’s calling himself this week, make crap up and then claim it is fact. He cited no poll, no study, nothing at all. And you believe it without question, because you’re a hack and because it feeds your bias.

The ugly reality is that you and Snarkkkie sniff glue at a much higher rate than conservatives. It must be true, I just said it.

BTW, Sp/narkkkie: “recieve (sic) foodstamps”? “I” before “E”, except after “C”. All pretend professors should know that.

      • robert108

If you tried facts instead of out of context cherry-picks, it would torpedo your efforts to spread your antiAmerican hate.

Bold faced lie, but be careful. Your humanity might start to show! It is far more humanitarian to provide an environment where people (all people, all colors, all faiths, and all political persuasions) can exercise their economic freedoms and grow or advance as far as they want to. Much more humanitarian than making people fully dependent upon government entitlements just to protect your base and you re-election efforts thru fear.

Once we elect Mitt we can all afford a dancing horse and a car elevator. So let get going on some more tax cuts for the rich. Don’t forget to do your part to defeat the socialist, marxist, community organizer from Kenya who want to ruin American with Affordable health care. Come on you spinners let it roll

Three historical quotes concerning tax cuts:
      1. “Lower rates of taxation will stimulate economic activity and so raise the levels of personal and corporate income as to yield within a few years an increased – not a reduced – flow of revenues to the federal government.”
      2. “It is no contradiction – the most important single thing we can do to stimulate investment in today’s economy is to raise consumption by major reduction of individual income tax rates.”
      3. “A tax cut means higher family income and higher business profits and a balanced federal budget. Every taxpayer and his family will have more money left over after taxes for a new car, a new home, new conveniences, education and investment. Every businessman can keep a higher percentage of his profits in his cash register or put it to work expanding or improving his business, and as the national income grows, the federal government will ultimately end up with more revenues.”

Pure jealousy and envy of the achievers. Get to work and make your own success, sockpuppet.

  • Albert Lickenspittle

Please let me know if you would like to join our new prayer group called spinning for Jesus. We get together to pray for tax cuts for the rich and give praise to the Republican Jesus who we all know is against everyone having health care. Also we know he is white.

Are there any opneings in the “Evolving Towards God” classes/groups, or have the instructors all retired after tasting success at the Democratic Convention?

    • jl

healthcare or health insurance, Mr Dunce? And it’s not “tax cuts for the rich.” It’s “tax cuts for those who pay all the tax.” Of course, every bracket received cuts, so you continue your lies.

Obama essentially has modern day soup kitchens and bread lines comparable to the 1930……….
The key indicator of our employment health, is what the government calls U-6. This is the number who have applied for work in the past 6 months and includes people who are involuntary part-time workers-government-speak for those individuals whose jobs have been cut back to two or three days a week.
They are working part-time only because they’ve been unable to find full-time work. This army of what’s called “underutilized labor” has been hovering for months at about 15% of the workforce. Include the eight million who have simply given up looking, and the real unemployment rate is closer to 19%.—Obama’s Soup Kitchens
Food-stamp enrollment has been rising at a rate of 400,000 per month over the past four years.
Second, Social Security disability-another record. More than 11 million Americans are collecting federal disability checks. Half of these beneficiaries have signed on since President Obama took office more than three years ago
the only reason we don’t have economic deflation — where prices for goods and services fall off a cliff — is the actions of the Federal Reserve, which has pumped trillions of dollars into the economy………….with strong hints last week at another round of printing paper……….can you say Wiermar or Zimbaubwae?
