Obama’s Department Of Justice Outs Creator Of Anti-Muslim Documentary

One of the justifications Islamists attacking US embassies, and murdering US diplomats, in the middle east are using is a supposedly anti-Muslim documentary that is critical of Mohammed. For obvious reasons (namely, the possibility of violent retaliation by Muslims) the guy who made the film kept his identity a secret.

Today, anonymous sources at the Department of Justice outed his identity. Which has to be terrifying for him and his family.

This move by the DoJ is indefensible. Whatever can be said about this documentary – and I haven’t seen it, so I don’t know anything about it – it is protected free speech in the United States of America. Making that video is not a crime. There was no legitimate reason for the DoJ to destroy the filmmaker’s anonymity.

Someone at the DoJ needs to lose their job.

There is far too much focus, in this debacle, on people in America who have said intemperate or hateful things about Muslims. What these people have said or done is irrelevant, because none of it justifies murder or violence.
