Obama Tries To Lump McCain In With Bush On Economy

But given that America has seen strong, at times very strong, economic growth throughout most of the Bush administration isn’t that really a good thing for McCain?

I know the media tells us that we’re supposed to hate Bush, and we’re supposed to think we’re on the verge of another Great Depression, but then “reality” and what you read in the newspaper aren’t always the same thing.

Comments

In remarks Obama plans to deliver today in Charlotte, North Carolina, he says economic policy under a Republican president “hasn’t worked, it won’t work, and it’s time to try something new.”

Since when is “tax and spend” new?

This is typical leftie “what have you done for me lately?” consciousness.  They conveniently forget six years of prosperity and the quick recovery from the twin blows of the Clinton recession and 9/11, not to mention beating the terrorists in Afghanistan and Iraq.
For Obama, none of that counts; only the govt-created “credit crunch”.  He spouts pure propaganda.

That is a very factual statement when your reality is based on denial and faith.

Clinton recession

Please provide a detailed explanation of this ‘recession.’ Citations would be appreciated.

No thanks, since it’s a matter of record; you can Google it, if you’re really interested in facts.

I figured you couldn’t back up your statements with a logical and factual argument, if you had one.

N: It’s a matter of public record; if you are really that ignorant, then educate yourself.  It’s not my job to school you.  If you don’t know basic public facts, you have no business trying to discuss anything.

robert108,

You make a claim(assumption by the looks of it) and expect others to validate it for you? Must be easy to never have to back up your claims and whine, “OMG! You don’t know how to use the internet? Google!”

Stop writing propaganda that you are not able to back up. Propaganda is tool used by Marxism devotees. You would have been a star pupil in the Reich Ministry for Public Enlightenment and Propaganda.

Propaganda is tool used by Marxism devotees.

You are a prime example of that.  If I say that the Sun rises in the East and sets in the West, are you going to whine that I haven’t proved that?  You are avoiding by throwing up bullshit.

robert108,

‘Sun rises in the East and sets in the West’ is a much more elaborate argument with at least details of location, than a simple falsehood of ‘Clinton recession.’

Jack’s challenge is one that I think you have a chance of statistically winning. I can’t imagine that you are unable to find ONE argument out of your 19,000 that has a factual argument supported by evidence, or is it true?

I am also reminded of Ken’s recent challenge, which you are unable to back up as well. What baffles me is how persistent your ignorance is, which noticing that nobody on this forums truly values your opinion. Not because of your opinion, nor your perspective, but because of your character.

Nunez on July 8, 2008 at 02:27 pm

So, you avoid the question(which was a pretty easy one) and then launch into yet another no-content personal attack?  Typical for you.
If you ever have any facts or logic, let me know.

robert108 is explained quite well by Proof’s signature:

A troll is someone who only wants to stir up trouble, not have an honest debate.  Some signs that a poster is a troll:
* Dodges questions from other posters * Refuses to give sources
* When one of its arguments is shown to be false, either ignores the proof or moves the goalposts.  Heh. (From the LGF faq)

If you ever have any facts or logic, let me know.

That’s right. Fall back on your general reply when you have been challenged and are unable to respond. You’re like a broken record with ‘Provide a logical and factual argument,[then you can be blessed by my imaginary superior intelligence in refutation.] Addition mine’

Nunez on July 8, 2008 at 02:37 pm

You’re like a broken record with ‘Provide a logical and factual argument…

Which is made necessary by your consistent failure to make any logical and factual arguments.  Stop doing what you do, change your ways, clean up your act, and you won’t have to hear it again.

Robert,

You pervert logic by using it to come to wrong conclusions with confidence.

An accusation is not an argument; repeated unsupported accusations are not determinative; they are just noise.

Are you arguing against yourself about your ‘Clinton recession’ comment?
