Obama The Classless: Nothing Like Stiffing America’s Best Ally

Talk about embarrassing! In his recent meeting with the United Kingdom’s Prime Minister Gordan Brown, Obama was given some very significant gifts.

Mr Brown’s gifts included an ornamental desk pen holder made from the oak timbers of Victorian anti-slaver HMS Gannet, once named HMS President.
Mr Obama was so delighted he has already put it in pride of place in the Oval Office on the Resolute desk which was carved from timbers of Gannet’s sister ship, HMS Resolute.
Another treasure given to the U.S. President was the framed commission for HMS Resolute, a vessel that came to symbolise Anglo-US peace when it was saved from ice packs by Americans and given to Queen Victoria.
Finally, Mr Brown gave a first edition set of the seven-volume classic biography of Churchill by Sir Martin Gilbert.

(Wow, I’ll bet there’s even a secret code written on the back of that commission telling you how to find some ancient treasure.)
Those are awesome gifts of respect to the US President. What did Obama give in return?
Obama gave him 25 classic DVD movies. Probably bought them on a $3.99 sale.
We knew Obama was clueless. Now we know he’s classless.

And I’ll say again, President O’Bama is the worst president ever.

Obama’s best moment with the British was the phony “press conference” he held by himself at 10 Downing Street.
He can pretend he is a great statesman much better when there is no one there to compare him with!

Is this the “change” in the special relationship that the left was “hoping” for?

Now THAT is being fiscally responsible.

Until Obama, Brown was the most economically clueless politician in the western hemisphere. Brown’s gifts much be in gratitude for taking the title off his hands.
