Obama Spent $700,000 On Setup For Speech In Germany

$700,000. For one speech. In front of a crowd of people who couldn’t even vote for him.

Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama paid a German company nearly $700,000 for staging, sound and lighting services at a time he delivered a speech this summer in which he declared himself a “citizen” of both the U.S. and the world…
The German company, whose Web page says it specializes in theater and event management and advertises the Obama speech with numerous pictures on its marketing pages, is listed as a disbursement recipient on Mr. Obama’s most recent campaign expenditures report, filed Thursday with the Federal Election Commission.
The company was paid $667,082 by the Obama campaign in three separate disbursements in July and August, according to the FEC records. The campaign also spent another $9,018 to Bero Berlin – Eurolimousine, the records show…
For hours before Mr. Obama arrived, attendees listened to live reggae, drank beer and munched on bratwurst and steak sandwiches. Many in the crowd sported black and white Obama T-shirts with the slogan, “I want you to stop climate change.”

And Palin gets crap for the RNC spending $150,000 for campaign clothes for her that will ultimately be donated for charity (likely for a heck of a lot more than they were bought for).
Nice double standard, isn’t it? Especially in light of revelations as to just how important (unfortunately) a woman’s looks are in politics.

Ollie you have to understand this , the news media is democrats and they are under the control of the democrats the do their bidding , so yes it was a democrat that hollered about her wardrobe being paid for by the RNC, The way Obama has spent money on his campaign is what he will do with our tax dollars we will be in the hole so bad they will raise taxes to a level we have never heard of before. 60% is not out of the realm of thinking if we get a whole government bent on the demise of our constitution.

I guess I remember that and when I heard I was really upset and I don’t know why because I was not in that tax bracket , I just thought it was appalling that these people had to pay 90% of what they made to taxes , I admit I used 60% to make a point it was not in any way factual but if I had of remembered the time that the so called rich were paying 90% I would have used that , wow that is breath taking to me . What i guess I was trying to say that all tax brackets would be at least 60%. it is hard to think outside the box I was in the 35 to 65,000 dollar range when that was happening. It is hard to believe that one would have to make one million to net 100,000 , I also believe we are headed that way if Obama is elected.

If Obama is not up at least 10 points he is toast , that is why he is the most spending person we have ever heard of ,that is what happens when a blank check is issued to a liberal , they spend all of it and then ask for more ,they become insatiable in their spending as if there was not an end to it , Again we have the old changeroo of what the original
post was about it really is hard to get this across to the left but try to remain on subject like it is not fair to belittle Palin for a mere 150,000 that will be recouped and the spending of 700,000 to go across the water and berate the United States in front of foreigners will be money down a black hole . I think at least what I got from the post is the mainstream news media is in the tank for Obama.If the news spent as much time lying about Palin in vetting Obama he would be down by 40 points.

He is a disgrace. He spends $295,000 per HOUR on advertising (and that was before the Obamamercial!). Funny, how he only manages to give 4.7 % of his wealth to charity (it was less than 1% before he started running for Pres) and has a half brother living in poverty in kenya and an aunt and uncle livign in the slums of Boston.
