Obama Sides With Bush Administration In Emails Case

Today must be “Bush was right” day for Obama. First The One sides with Bush on terror detainees. Now he’s taking Bush’s view of executive privilege on White House emails.

WASHINGTON – The Obama administration, siding with former President George W. Bush, is trying to kill a lawsuit that seeks to recover what could be millions of missing White House e-mails.
Two advocacy groups suing the Executive Office of the President say that large amounts of White House e-mail documenting Bush’s eight years in office may still be missing, and that the government must undertake an extensive recovery effort. They expressed disappointment that Obama’s Justice Department is continuing the Bush administration’s bid to get the lawsuits dismissed.

    Why ,at this time when we need to make the best use of our resources, do these radicals think we should be wasting time looking for emails that they aren’t even sure are there. What purpose would it serve the country? None.George is gone. Leave it alone.

    There should be full disclosure, regardless of if it is Bush or Obama (Republican or Democrat). The government is comprised of We the People … we should know what our officials are doing and saying. The emails should be recovered and properly filed for future research, just like all government documents should be.
