Obama Resigns From Trinity United Church of Christ

He may be slow, but he can certainly feel the heat!

Barack Obama and his wife Michelle have resigned their membership at the Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, FOX News has confirmed, after controversies stemming from the congregation created a persistent distraction for Obama’s campaign.

About twenty years too late!

Translation, Reverend Wrong and Trinity United is costing Barry votes now it seems convenient to throw them under the bus. However, all of us know that Obama is a political Hack and this mean nothing more than show.

    Maybe Scientology?

Maybe the next time Barry goes on Oprah, he can jump up and down on the couch, too?

He left for the same reason that he joined.

    Political expediency.

    What a phony

Further proof (for those who need it) Barry O is an opportunist with no core values (other than Marxism).

One more thing are we to believe that Obama thinks American are that simple that now it will be ok since he has tried to throw his church under the bus now.

I wonder if Michelle Obama is proud of her husband?

    Pretty lame!

Obama’s horrible politics aside, he has at least finally done what many of us here said he should do.

The question now is, will this gain him votes or cost him votes?

The thing is that he should have done it a long time ago, that church is a disgrace and has a racist agenda. The Federal Government should take their non-profit status taken away from them because they are a political entity. There is no excuse for this crap.

Like this is going to make a difference come November.

So he has left the church BUT has the church doctrine left him? I don’t think so…

  • http://proof-proofpositive.blogspot.com/ proof_positive

Barry is the Master of Bad Timing! Had he done this quietly even a year ago, there is no bad press, no God Damn America Wright hanging around his neck!

  • Aye Chihuahua

It’s getting really, really crowded under the bus.

Ohhhh, I can hardly wait to see who the lucky new church is.

Don’t worry we will vet that church.

Doc, No doubt she had a strong affection for that church and it’s doctrine! I think it is too little too late.

It seems that everyone that speaks at Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago is trying to make it impossible for him to win. If he became President, what would they bitch about. I think they are worried of coming up with a new positive message, other than the evil white america keeping them down. Well done another black on black crime, except in this case white Catholic priest Michael Pfleger.

After watching his press conference, I came away thinking he left the “church” because the members were being harrassed by the press & that he was against the politics being used against the “church”.
After refusing to denounce the church during this conference, I think this is just another fluff motion like his supposed master speech on racism after the first Wright fiasco.
Yes…..he really thinks voters are THAT stupid……

    Too late is my guess.

I’d like to think so. In a rational world, yes. It’s hard to gauge the sanity of the Kool Aid® drinkers in the Democratic Party, though.

Why is Barry O always picking at his face?

  • http://2mdh.blogspot.com/ C. Y.

My guess is he just pissed off Reverend Wrong so now wait for the preaching about the 2-faced Barry to erupt. My understanding is Reverend Wrong was already pissed because Barry wouldn’t take the hard line. He’ll be like Hillary’s thinking about 2012 and will do whatever he thinks will sabotages Barry’s campaign.

Zsa, I think that Michelle probably is more enamored with Wrights doctrine than her husband.

Too late is my guess. This church and their bigitry has hung on Barry like the spray of a skunk. It does not go away easy, and the remedy leave an odor that lets you know what you are trying to mask.

Barry is done. Stick a fork in him. When they get to where his money is coming from, it will be a closed casket funeral it will be that ugly.

I can only imagine what the line will be. I am sure Reverend Wrong will be upset with Barry because he just basically just did what Wrong said he does, says what the people want to hear because he is a politician. Resigning is what the people wanted to hear not what Barry wanted to do.

I can’t wipe this smile of my face. We will fight the good fight and win. The man is an empty suit. God Bless America.

PS: or maybe mosque, synagogue, temple, other? Maybe Scientology? :D

We can bet that Barry O will screw up again.

I wonder if Michelle Obama is proud of her husband?

I think it is safe to say “not” because they both probably have to believe crap their church spews from a week to week basis. If you listen to MO this is the first time in my adult life that I am proud of her country that straight from the Reverend Wrong play book.

The rats are leaving the sinking ship, but they’re still rats.

Obama treats his decades-long friends like shit.

    “Change”
    “Hope”
    “I’m asking you to believe”

He’s getting the message out alright, but it’s the opposite of what he had in mind.

They are all messed up with their minority nisshap. They have positioned one minority against another to their detriment. One wing will be upset regardless the outcome. How can you gage that..?

And the anti-McCain conservatives too. No one knows for certain which way they will go on election day.

That is me, Will I vote POTUS or sit out..? If McCain keeps talking about climate change like he has, I am out. If he hamers on defense, it will be all in.
