Obama Resigns From Trinity United Church of Christ
He may be slow, but he can certainly feel the heat!
Barack Obama and his wife Michelle have resigned their membership at the Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, FOX News has confirmed, after controversies stemming from the congregation created a persistent distraction for Obama’s campaign.
About twenty years too late!

Update:It is curious that an intemperate speech by Father Michael Pfleger is enough to push Obama over the top (and Trinity under the bus!),
but Obama has steered hundreds of thousands of dollars to Pfleger’s church. Is Rip Van Obama just waking up to what all of his friends believe?
Pfleger gave Obama’s campaign $1,500 between 1995 and 2001, including $200 in April 2001, about three months after Obama announced $225,000 in grants to St. Sabina programs.
