Obama Quietly Ends The Armed Pilot Program
This isn’t incompetence. It’s a criminal disregard for the safety of the American people:
After the September 11 attacks, commercial airline pilots were allowed to carry guns if they completed a federal-safety program. No longer would unarmed pilots be defenseless as remorseless hijackers seized control of aircraft and rammed them into buildings.
Now President Obama is quietly ending the federal firearms program, risking public safety on airlines in the name of an anti-gun ideology.
So….the guy piloting a multi-ton aircraft containing several hundred passengers can be trusted to fly the plane and get it safely back on the ground but can’t be trusted to defend it if something far fetched, some scheme from terrorists - oh, say, some dudes with boxcutters wanted to take it over and crash it into buildings occupied by several thousand people - were to happen.
My God.
Who is Obama listening to? Is he being kept completely out of the loop on what is happening in the world by advisers with their own political agenda, or is he actually this incompetent?
Or (and I asked this question yesterday) are he and his gang deliberately setting out to damage this country beyond repair?
Well, it’s a good thing he’s decided to disarm those pilots, isn’t it? I mean, putting guns in the hands of college educated, highly responsible people, many of whom have military backgrounds….what were we thinking?
This isn’t going to end well.
