Obama: People Are Tired Of Hearing About Wright

Uh, sure.  If you say so Barry.

This is merely the final phase in the Obama campaign’s plan to neutralize the Jeremiah “God Damn America” Wright problem.

Step 1: Obama throws Wright under the bus (a humorous event given that Obama said previously that he could no more disown Wright than he could disown his grandmother).

Step 2: Obama and his faithful disciples in the media try to write Wright off as old news.

The problem?  We’re still in the primary season, and only the political addicts in the American population are paying attention right now.  The general election awaits yet, and thus there are millions of people who have yet to be introduced to Obama’s spiritual leader in all his America-damning, race-baiting, conspiracy-mongering glory.

Obama may want everyone to forget about Wright, but that doesn’t mean everyone will.

I think what he meant is that he, Obama, is tired of people hearing about Wright.

disowing wright is equal to disowning the black community right?  So is it a done deal?

Democrats have a tough choice to make:

(1) An empty suit or

(2) A bag of hot air

Choose wisely!

Wright is no more offensive to me then Benny Hinn or any other ranting religious quake, so i dont mind hearing about him especially. At least Wright doesnt pretend to miraculously heal people or any of that rubbish, or not as far as i know. As for God damning America, there’d have to be a God firstly, and secondly America does well enough damning itself through its yank-o-centric foreign policy and backward capitalist, corporate fuedualism. Wright was entirely accurate when he described America as aparty to terrorism, it has been for centuries only the people America terrorises are ‘terrorists’, so its o.k. Soon America will have relagated itself to hanging from the coat-tails of the englightened world. Thank God for that.

Yeah ‘cause it’s not like the enlightened world has been hanging on America’s coat-tails or anything. /sarcasm

Thank God for that

Thank who Reason?  God?  Surely you meant to say someone else?

That “enlightened world” you speak of can hardly feed itself, much less pay for all that enlightenment.

Obama:  The public is tired of hearing about this.

Public:  We’re tired of hearing about this.

Obama:  These are not the talking points you’re looking for.

Public:  These are not the talking points we’re looking for.

Reason, it’s nice to hear from someone who can form sentences with properly placed capital letters.  However, for the myriad problems the US has what you call the ‘enlightened’ world engages in genital mutilation, no women voting or driving, no religious freedom and target children with bombs.  I consider it inevitable that our govt will fall, not because we are unenlightened but because we start to follow the those others.
