Obama: My Cap and Trade Will Skyrocket Electricity Rates

That’s the electricity rates you pay.

You know, when I was asked earlier about the issue of coal, uh, you know — Under my plan of a cap and trade system, electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket.

Wasn’t it just last week when Obama was talking about this costing the average family the same price as a postage stamp.
Of course last week Obama wasn’t talking to the editorial board of a San Francisco newspaper. He couldn’t be honest last week.
But a year ago January, he was telling the truth when he admitted that his plan would be skyrocketing your family’s expenses.
Every time Obama or other Democrats talk about their Cap and Trade Tax we need to trot out this quote where he was being honest for once.

    With Stuart Smalley now a senator (what a joke)from MN, I wouldn’t be so sure of defeating Cap ‘n Tax…. it won’t be long before he forgets we have to heat our homes in winter!

    While this might get a little dirt on him like his “bitter people, clinging to their guns and religion” gaffe, his suck-ups won’t care. The sad fact is there are a lot of Dinos out there who like the idea of getting fed a crap sandwich by Obama and just keep coming back for more.

    That said though, we should use this to advantage if we can. Blast him with it every time he opens his mouth about Crap and Tax. Use it on him like “I was for it, before I was against it” was used on Kerry. If nothing else, it will let congress know that there are a lot of us out here that don’t want this and will not take it quietly.

    I gaurantee that your utilty bill will double under Cap and Trade. Then the Dummycrats will raise their shoulders and say “Look at those evil power companies, we better have government control”.

    Obama is a dictator in waiting.

    BTW, our temperature today was 18 degrees below normal for this date. Aint AGW a bummer?

    Dave Reichert SPEAKS: says Cap and Trade will be good for America

    He argued that the expense would not be what the Heartland Institute, Heritage Foundation, and Wall Street Journal were predicting. He argued that it would cost around $.48 per day and that we would have better national security, more nuclear, coal and refining capabilities, and a cleaner environment with the bill. He argued that the conservative arguments against were mistaken, and that Washington specifically would be better off even though the bill was imperfect.

    And, he caught the Green River Killer.

    Yeah, it took him a couple of decades, but better late than never.

    I hear Fox was thinking about making the Series 24 about Reichert. But instead of showing 24 hours in a day they would have to make each episode a year.
