Obama Mispronounces Name Of His Allegedly Favorite Baseball Team’s Home Field
I don’t really care that Obama apparently doesn’t really know the name of the park where the White Sox play, but I do wish that he wouldn’t pretend to be a big baseball fan when it’s clear he isn’t.
“I do think that there’s a different quality to what used to be Cominskey Field vs. Wrigley,” President Obama told Bob Costas during an interview that aired during Tuesday night’s MLB All-Star Game.
For the record, the White Sox play in the New Comiskey Park, or US Celluar Field (I prefer “New Comiskey”). Which is located right across the street from the Old Comiskey Park.
It’s not, Cominskey Park as anyone who has actually attended a game there (apparently not Obama) can tell you.
Honestly, this is about as cringe-worthy as that time John Kerry tried to go duck hunting.
