At Obama’s staged AARP event here, the president made the claim that nobody is taking away anyone’s Medicare benefits.
How can that be? Medicare is broke. It’s going to need massive new funding. But Obama and his Democrat minions in Congress are planning on taking $300 Billion out of Medicare and Medicaid to pay to cover tens of millions of uninsured people. That’s one of their main funding mechanisms for their government takeover of our health care.
President Barack Obama Saturday proposed an additional $313 billion in cuts to Medicare, Medicaid and other programs to pay for health care reforms expected to cost about $1 trillion over the next decade.
I’m sure all of the seasoned citizens are going to be happy to find out that they are going to be denied benefits so that the Democrats can use the money to pay for coverage of illegal aliens.
No wonder why Obama’s in such a hurry to pass his takeover bill. He knows that once people find out what’s in it it’s finished.
