Obama: I’d Be Running Away With This Race If It Weren’t For Fox News

In only the Fox people would follow their talking points.

“I am convinced that if there were no Fox News, I might be two or three points higher in the polls,” Obama told me. “If I were watching Fox News, I wouldn’t vote for me, right? Because the way I’m portrayed 24/7 is as a freak! I am the latte-sipping, New York Times-reading, Volvo-driving, no-gun-owning, effete, politically correct, arrogant liberal. Who wants somebody like that?

No gun-owning?  Is Obama suggesting that he actually owns guns?  Is Obama suggesting that he’s not any of those other things too?

I mean, I’ve never thought of him has particularly effeminate, I don’t think he owns a Volvo, and I don’t know if he likes lattes or not but otherwise that description sounds pretty accurate to me.

The One continues:

“I guess the point I’m making,” he went on, “is that there is an entire industry now, an entire apparatus, designed to perpetuate this cultural schism, and it’s powerful. People want to know that you’re fighting for them, that you get them. And I actually think I do. But you know, if people are just seeing me in sound bites, they’re not going to discover that. That’s why I say that some of that may have to happen after the election, when they get to know you.”

Now Obama is suggesting that Fox News is the only media outlet to engage in sound-bite politics?  And that every other station covers him fairly?

Give me a break.  If any journalists dares to go any deeper on Obama than a few sound bites The One sics his lawyers on them and starts his surrogates on a “racism” mantra.

Just a set up for control of “unfair” media later on - whether he wins or not as he still has his senate seat.

No, he’s a tea drinkin’, book writing’ instead of policy writin’, bike ridin’, helmet wearing, arugala eating, gun-totin’, effete, race card playin’, arrogant socialist.

And, like he said, who wants somebody like that?

Dead in the crosshairs now....

Here comes the ”Fairness Doctrine”…

They’ll be forced to have more leftist party hacks on for their views....

Maybe that is why he doesn’t go on FNC.  Bill O. barely got him to sit for an interview in York PA.  Hannity promised to give 10,000 to Barry’s brother living in squalor in Africa just to get him on.  He is a crybaby.

Truth be told, I have never seen someone so obviously “Liberal” and “Socialistic” get even this “close” to the White House..

If the Republican Party had a stronger Candidate, Obama would have been toast long ago..
Gonna vote McCain. But, lets be honest. McCain has not as of yet, drawn the right picture very strong for the Public.

If you are so upset with Obama’s reaction to Fox, I wonder what you think of Palin’s supporters bitching about unfair coverage after her three embarrassing TV interviews before the debates? Remember poor Dan Quayle? - he was portrayed as a complete moron and no one cried about it. Why should Palin, Obama or anyone else be treated differently? I agree that Obama sounds like a total sissy, bitching about unfair coverage on Fox - he should shut his latte-hole because everyone else bows to his Gucci-loafered feet. I just want consistency. No one running for the highest office in the land should bitch about unfair coverage, especially now when the S*** is really hitting the fan.

Not upset at all....

It just shows what a prevaricated narcissist he is.

Just how would the Fairness Doctrine work? I know the radio stations would probably just end up pulling most shows, but what about Rush? Do they let him talk for 10 min., then have somebody like that dyke Rachel M. come in and tell the “truth” for 10 min. and back and forth? I can’t believe he would complain, except i think he is so vain he thinks everyone should fall in line right down the road.

Info not covered by the mainstream media:

How many of you have heard that Illinois’ attorney general is investigating a $100,000 grant then state Sen. Barack Hussein Obama steered to a campaign volunteer for a botanic garden that was never built?

Or that the FBI last week raided the offices of Larry Walsh, Will County Illinois executive, a poker playing buddy of Barack Hussein Obama when both served in the Illinois legislature, and to whom U.S. Sen. Obama steered several millions of dollars of federal earmark spending?

Rob,
Why is the headline for this article so misleading? Nowhere does he say he would be running away with this race. Two or three points ahead in the polls is not “running away.” Once again that conservative misinformation raises its ugly head. Congrats for keeping it real.
